To be frank, not spending points in stamina now doesn't mean they will suddenly be unable to win. Since most players are actually building to be at their best in the big leagues, and those that aren't most of the times simply don't know how to build, you effectively might win even with no stamina.

Now, what exactly do you mean by "dont even have enough stamina to make it through an 8 down drive" ?

idk i guess if im spending real money on this game, id want to see results as early as possible. I guess the only place to know that ppl are trying to win as much as you are the world and pro leagues so ill have to shoot for that. id rather not boost so i guess thats already a strike against me tho. thanks for the help again.

Im not saying that we cant win because of the stamina thing, ill be the first to admit i dont know the first thing about how to win here. im a bad oc/dc and im trying to learn. what im trying to say is i would not want to have to account for a player with bad stamina on a crucial play that he might not make because of how low his energy was. If that makes any sense at all haha.

The 8 down drive thing: What i mean is most of my team cant go a whole series without being at like 40% stamina, and that series may have only been 8 plays long.

The low energy only gives him a % penalty to his stats. Imagine he has 100 speed 20 agility 20 vision 20 tackling, he might count as if he had 90 speed, 18 agility 18 vision 18 tackling.

It is a penalty, and it will make an impact, but it is not the end of the world

(NOTE: Yes, there's more to stamina than this, but this is a good simplification)

Pro and WL aren't the only spots, but obviously the higher leagues are where the most serious owners and agents usually end up. And without boosting your dots simply can't compete at that level. But there are lots of other places to play that have quality ownership and agents, check out some of the GLB Networks (look in the Team Press Releases forum), it's a good place to connect with quality agents who can share info about build strategy and DAI/OAI.

most players will never see the pro or wl level any more. you can have all the "perfect" builds but w/o top quality GMs, many players will go thru their careers never having won any trophies. so losing 1 or 2 end pts at the end, is it really that big of a deal?

I've put stamina and other minors as regular EQ for the first couples seasons before. Since you can always reset them there is no long term damage done.

Yeah... that's where the idea came from (for me, anyways for the last several seasons).

And this goes beyond just the first few seasons, really. I found out that as I get pieces of AEQ, the remaining pieces of EQ can be used to supplement some of the fringe skills since the AEQ usually comes with bonuses to skills (like a +3 speed or a +5 strength, ect, ect, ect...) which gives me some play room.

AEQ never comes with +5 on anything. +3 is the most AEQ can get you.
