And that is why I also added the question "would a FB get an OPP at kicker" because I am curious if I built a blocking FB and brought kicking up real high if he would perform as well as a poorly built kicker.

I hope this helps you then. Many seasons ago we tried to go with a single kicker instead of a kicker and a punter. We put the kicker in at punter and figured the OOP would be minimal. Um... no. The kicker kicked just fine... but his punts were total crap. It's been so long since I've built a kicker or a punter but I think there's a difference in what skill sets for each build and that difference is why one cannot do the others job very well... not the OOP causing the issue.
So, even though it's a little crazy (what you're thinking)... I suspect if you did jam up his (the FB's) kicking, he'd kick ok... but not great. And not because of the OOP but because of the skill set as a whole. You'd have to jack up more than just his kicking... I think. :shrug: (still missing those new extra smilies.
