If you enhance to 10%, light train, enhance to 20%, light train 3 times, enhance to 30%, and then intense train all but a few times from then until you can second cap then you are slightly better off not boosting to 4. That will leave you with 1 more skill point and 35 more bonus tokens when either method can reach the second cap of 61.4. There is a nine day discrepancy, during which time the booster could theoretically multi-train twice and therefore gain an additional 24 tokens later on, but that obviously doesn't quite make up the advantage, plus the guy who doesn't boost to 4 will be able to enhance the attributes for multi-training a little bit earlier. So overall, it is better not to boost but hardly worth worrying about. Basically, do what you want as long as you have the right plan for whatever you choose.

You do not have too boost early to reach 79. I don't feel like looking into why that may be the case for your players but you do not have to boost from 1 to 4 to reach level 79. Period. End of story.

Try again now. There was a problem previously with dots who didn't boost their final season before reaching d281, but I think they fixed it.

You must have missed some other boosts or something. You are the only one out of hundreds of agents that I know who did not get to boost to 79.

There was an issue previously where if you did not use your last season's boosts before hitting d281 then you were shit out of luck and would never reach 79.

I have 5 Olineman who didn't boost their first season. After 6 plateau boosts they're all at Lvl 76. Support says it's correct.

he is asking if you make a dot day 40-48 and is calling that the "first" season.

If you make a dot midseason you probably do have to boost that season.

You definitely have to in that case.

I admit.....when I was learning I got confused on what was considered your 1st season when you created on day 40. To think how many dots I retired every time I learned I was doing it wrong

Its thirty total boosts right?

I have boosted them 27 times and I did not boost them the first season between days 40 and 48. So I don't see where I missed any boosts, except the last ones they wont give me.

Okay, from the conversation I'm reading above... is there a difference in whether or not to boost from 1-to-4 based on creating your dot in Day 41-to-48 of Season "0" versus creating your dot in Day -8 - to Day 0 of Season "1"? Or am I just horribly mis-reading things?

I'd always figured it was best to create your dot in Day 41-to-48 of Season "0" and boost from 1-to-4 before the season rolled over. Now I'm paranoid I've had this horribly, horribly wrong. Add in the fact that I now have a free player and it's Day -8 of Season 1, and I'm wondering if I can use him now or if I need to hold onto the free slot for 40 days.

(Man, just when I thought I was finally making sense of dot-building... this shit makes my head spin. How you build gurus keep it all straight, I'll never know.)

(And yeah, I could test it in the VPB, except that I'm at work and stuck using IE, and I won't be at home until about midnight tonight, and I'm hoping someone can give me a simple answer before then. If not, I'll just VPB it tomorrow.)
