the other team scored, your morale went down

why is that so hard to understand?

you do realize that there are a lot of other items that can come into play?

Slow Starter and 2nd wind VA's are a couple and there are others, but I don't feel like looking them up

They scored a Field Goal when we were winning by 26 or so points, and we supposedly had 16 to 18 points of morale buffer.

How does it make sense that we were negative that point?

Shouldn't your own scores add to your morale buffer? So that when you are up 26 points you still feel kinda okay about the game????

System simply blows. Makes zero sense. If you are up by more than 10 points your morale should be 100, plain and simple.

-1 to yello1.

+1 to blowing up the Morale system. The way it's currently implemented in this game makes zero sense.

Or that there are a bunch of SAs and VAs which sap morale throughout the game, like Aura of Intimidation, for example. Etc. Etc.

Point is, some teams are built for the second half of the game. I've seen it plenty of times in the NFL. I can't count how many times I saw the old New England Patriots get a decent lead in the first half only to collapse in the second half, giving the game away. In the NFC East back during the same time, most scoring didn't even happen until the second half because every team pounded the run during the first half just to wear down the opponent. Then come the middle of the 3rd quarter, the passing game explodes to put a bunch of points on the board.

Looking through the abilities, you can see that GLB allows you build teams that mimic this.

AND the game lets you protect yourself agaisnt that

By having good confidence, salary, and by seasonal and game promotions - ALL of which were in play on my side of the ball, +16 to +18 for all players on my team and our average confidence is over 54, which includes a couple low guys (one guy has an 8, yeah missed that when handing out offers lol) dragging the average down, and there are home town hero VAs in place on some and both QBs have high generals on QB and Center, all of which should be boosting MY morale.

AND we scored three TDs in the first Quarter answered only by a Field Goal.

Our morale should have been through the roof and it should have stayed there for a very long time before the boosts from our own scoring wore away and there still should have been morale boosts left from the +16-18 and field generals etc.

Instead it went down early and often.

Just idiotic.

Who can help me come up with that type of lame suggestion?

Anyone?

Bueller?

Bueller?

Yello?

I spent a crapload of team cash on salaries and promotions and made sure my leaders had good general skills and even put some morale boosting into my own dots VAs.

What more would you suggest I do? Hack the Code?

yello1, you're doing yourself ZERO favors by using your own team and your own game as an example. That's just gonna make everyone LOL at you and assume that you're just mad about your team losing. Again.

You want this Suggestion to REALLY go somewhere? Post examples from games your team is NOT involved in.

For me to do that intelligently I would have to be talking about teams I GM, and revealing things about those teams to the forum. That would be kinda rude to the owners and agents of that team, don't you think?

Hey, you're the one who wants morale to get changed. And you're also the one who has a reputation for only making Suggestions that would help your teams get above .500.

The way you're doing things right now simply guarantees that none of your Suggestions will ever get taken seriously... not even the 10% that actually have some merit to them.

You can either take my advice and actually get somewhere, or you can ignore me and continue to get laughed at by the staff and userbase while having 0 impact on the game at all. Your choice, yello1.

Not gonna go back and forth with you on this.

You're complaining about a lost game.

And I don't see a "suggestion" anywhere.

Provide something more tangible about what is wrong, and an actual suggestion that would fix it.
