This might be a dumb question but what is the advantage to multi-training? I don't see any. It costs the same training points, the progress percent appears to be the same and I actually got fewer BT's. My dot is really too low to do it anyway but I tried it once to see how it worked. I don't see a benefit. What am I missing?

There is not a real advantage to multi-training 2 attributes. Multi-training 3 attributes is better than 2 and is better than not multi-training in alot of cases. However, the real gain is from multi-training 4 attributes.
When you multi-train 4 attributes, each attribute training is equivalent to an Intense training +30%. So if you would have gotten a 50% gain from intense training, you would get a 65% gain from 4-way multi training. You also get 50% more BTs from 4-way multi-training over just regular intense training.
Comparing 4-way multi-training to Normal training, you get 25% less gain from Normal over Intense. That means that comparing Normal to 4-way, you get ~ 65% more training gain from 4-way multi-training. You do get 25% less BTs (3 per day vs. 4 per day), but the training gain more then makes up for the BT loss.

Thanks Plankton. I think I'm with you. I did see 3 BT rather than 4 but did not notice the increased training %.
Just to be clear: when you say 4-way multi training you are talking about 3 +1 free right?

Yes. You buy 3 and add the 1 free.

Did you guys who have level 12 players boost already or did you create your dots prior to the end of last season?

I create in the offseason to get max training and have the option to boost 1 - 4. I know some people are planning to put off those 3 boosts to use at the end, but I like being competitive for all seasons, so I like to create offseason, boost 1-4, then not boost until late the next season.

To be frank, there is no advantage to boosting 9 times at plateau instead of 6. People might think they'd get more training boosts, but those are lost by losing out on the ALGs from capping at earlier ages and losing out on VPs by getting to level 25 and 35 later.

I agree with you, but I have seen posts arguing that there is, so I try to be open/fair minded in the info I share.
