Flip agility and catching, and get some fakes and spin, don't worry about the not fumble%, use that for BT%.

think you're wrong here

it's much easier to make a wr juke then break tackles, same with a scat. Seems like just some Fake gear and some sps put in some SAs he already has and he could get open and still hold on

There is definitely room for a player like this in the sim. Could be a valuable target on third down, and there are more than just a couple of plays that have HB routes where he can be utilized.

I've never liked this type of HB in my offense but I guess a guy with that catching and add sticky hands could be a reliable target on 3rd down.

How to Build a Successful Scat Back in GLB
BY: Coreyls18

Creating your Scat back
1. Choose Scat back Arch type.
2. Select Catch Fake for the additional SA.
3. Make him 5’6”, 180lbs.
4. Get Speed to 25 and Agility to 16.
5. Do NOT spend the initial 15 SP.
6. With your starting 12 BTs. EnhanceSpeed 1x.
7. Train Speed on Intense 3x.
8. With your BTs, enhance Speed 1x.
9. Continue to Intense train Speed through day 48.
10. On day 48, Trade in 15 BTs for 1 SP. Use your 16 SP to 1st Cap Speed to 49.00
11. Boost 3x.

Season 1
1. Switch to Normal training Speed
2. When you reach 18 BTs, enhance Speed 1x. Should now be enhanced 30%.
3. When Speed reach 52.5 and you have 18SP, 2nd Cap Speed to 61.50. Be sure to train a few times before you level up to get training % closer to 99%.
4. When Speed is 64 and you have 15 SP, 3rd Cap Speed to 68.00.
5. At this point use your BTs to Buy Multi-Training. Unlock Agility, Catching, and Speed.
6. Enhance Agility 2x.
7. Set your training to Multi: Carrying, Speed, Agility, Catching.
8. When you reach over 18 BTs, enhance Agility 1x. Should now be enhanced 30%.
9. When Speed reaches 70.50 and you have 18 SP. Then 4th Cap Speed to 73.50
a. Note here and for all other times you take a skill to the next cap. If you have a training coming up and it will NOT rollover the skill and you will not be leveling up before the training. Then train once more before you cap the skill. To take advantage of the higher % gains.
10. When you have over 6 BTs, enhance Catching 1x.
11. When you have over 12 BTs, enhance Catching 1x.

3. With your 8 SP. Assign them to your top SA tree as follows: 1-1-1-1-2

5. Day 48. End of Season 7. EL should be around 1273.42.
End of Season 7 Screenshot:

Season 8
1. Day -8, Boost 1x, Cap Stamina to 60.71. Switch to train Stamina and roll it over, then go back to Confidence
1. Light/Normal/Intense(depends on your BT situation) train Confidence for rest of career.
3. Day 1, Boost to level 79. With your 32SP placement will depend solely on your AEQ. Example: If you have a piece of AEQ that is +13 Speed, +6 Juke. Then you wont be taking Juke past 3 with your SP. For my example I will say I have a piece of Juke, Spin, Catch Ball %, and Fake %. So I would put my final 34 SP as follows. 6-4-4-3-3 with 4 in Catch Fake. With your CEQ, its up to you want you want to add. Can be +4 Catch Fake, +12% Fake Chance, +12% Break Tackle, +12% Catch Ball, +4 Any other SA like Quick Cut or First Step, or 2 in each of those. Any is a good option. Just go based on how the SIM is.
4. End of Career. Enjoy Plateau! EL Should be around 1405.10.
End of Career Screenshot:

Other Build Notes
1. At end of build you may end up with BTs leftover. Now in this build model I tried to do it a tad more conservative to make sure this is a 4 AEQ piece build. If you have good luck in the Shop, then you will have BTs leftover. With these BTs, trade them in for SP. With those SP, add to Catch Fake, Quick Cut, First Step, and/or Head Fake.
2. All Equipment upgrades in Speed.
3. With your Custom Equipment. Make it +6 Speed, +1 to Elusive Back tree. Other bonuses refer to Season 8 in the Build Plan.
Veteran Points – You will have around 68. With those you can do some of the following: (Refer to teams OC for exacts)
Track Star – This would add 4.59 to Speed
Soft hands – This would add 6.53 to Catching
Mr. Reliable
Quick Feet(Must Have)
Slippery(Must Have)
YAC Attack – If you add this, DO NOT put more than 9 in it
OT Killer – Only if OC wants this
Quick – This would add 4.19 to Agility
Sure Hands

Just had a speedy HB beat my team today with a TD or two where he just ran away from my D. Thats what I had in mind.

However - snakes is the man, so this gives me pause.

Do you like Coreyls HB?

Its basically a WR build with catch fake. Could work but for scat back I personally wouldn't want that

Not sure why, but even if you like that type of build, corey's EL and attributes seem low. Every 0.5 major dot should be ending up at 1400+ for 4 AEQ and 1500+ for 3 AEQ.
