well if you think about it... the 4th place teams are the bottom of the barrel WL teams anyways.

As others have said, more competition in Pro will better prepare people who haven't been here before.

why not have the top 4 teams in each WL conf that missed the playoffs (9-12 in both conferences) play the teams that lose in the CC games of the condensed pro leagues. It will make those teams prove they deserve to get to the WL and give the current WL teams one last chance to stay. Just pick the WL team to Pro league team game randomly.
It will at least make for a bunch of meaningful games on the last day of the season.

In that case, why not make the teams that come 3rd and 4th in ProL playoff with 9 and 10 in WL.

Yea, it should be easy enough to do for day 40 since it'll only be 1 game. Makes sense too. Keeping 4 from each pro league seems like too much. Only having to win 2 games in the playoffs is too easy. Just makes pro playoffs more worthless

But to the WL long term is more fun when you build rivalries, etc. I think it would be a lot better if they included a play-in game like suggested above.
