For all we know, all those possibilities could be said to already be factored into how Bort set up the stamina system. Just like the earlier suggestion of players losing energy running from the bench to the huddle.

I want serious injuries that last for many games. I would leave them on the field and play them until they die.

Injuries would be tough to implement because of the investment most make in their players. Other simulations like Buzzer Beater incorporate injuries, but you run the whole team as opposed to individual players as we do here. Replacements can be purchased out of your team fund at any point in the season other than the playoffs.

I would suggest instituting more random penalties such as pass interference, roughing the passer, or clipping before taking a player out of the game or for an extended period of time.

i disagree... would be just like in-game energy, sometimes you'd be out a play maybe 1-5 plays or the length of one series at the most, and would be random. might be nice if it were influenced by the stamina attribute and make stamina more meaningful, while players with good confidence could "play through the pain" (which actually would make a great VA too if injuries were added). Would also add a wrinkle to planning your roster cause you'd never have just 1 QB if he could go down for a few plays after getting sacked or something.

career ending injuries or going on the DL for the season are NGTH because of the money issue, granted.

I'd really like to see injuries AND a greater number of more interesting penalties, especially if a player's tactics settings somehow contribute to the flags (a DB playing a super close coverage distance makes you more likely to get called for interference or QB with a high "throw away" setting more likely to get called for intentional grounding, etc.)

If GLB thinks it should happen, yeah. But you just might be one of maybe 2 people in the league. I sure won't be. Dots cost money and I ain't Warren Buffet.

seems like specific leagues with different rules/systems is NGTH...iron man, non-boosting, etc.

At best, the suggestion adds more random factors to a game that is already entirely determined by random factors.

At worst it turns people off the game, and/or becomes an AI nightmare.
