Let me start this out by saying that making it work is going to take some work and effort (and some math).

When you start from scratch, it is often wise to hold back some money so that you can expand the next season. That might still be the case for you. However, the sooner you buy the seats, the sooner they are paid off, and you need as much future cash as you can get. Buying seats not only increases your ticket sales revenue, but it also increases your concessions revenue and your playoff revenue (for non-Pro teams).

Here is my suggestion...Don't buy seats yet. Wait until the season rollsover. At that point, your finance tab should update with your projected income for the season (might not happen until schedules are released, but it should happen at some point the first day). Look at your projected income, add $2.4 million ($300K per home game for concessions), and subtract your salary costs for the season. What's left is roughly how much you will have to spend next offseason on expansion. You will need to repay your loan, but you will also be able to take a new one, so for planning purposes, its a wash.

You will have the pre-req for adding both 200 sidelines, 2 200 Corners, and 1 200 Endzone. You definitely want to add 200 Sidelines, so if you would have $3 million left, I would leave myself the $2.5 million for the 200 sideline and not buy more than $500K worth of seats. I would probably do the same for the Corners, but I am not 100% sure on those. In any event, plan out what you can and want to buy next offseason, and then spend the rest on seats during the preseason. Just don't forget to pay off your loan before you start incurring interest.

Awesome, thank you Plankton. I will heed your advice and let you know how it goes. The plan you have outlined sounds very manageable for me.
