Can't see where this would be at all necessary, but if there is a problem, seems like GLB could treat team names like player names--when you retire/sell you'd have the option of retiring the name.

You should be flattered, tbh. Any time someone has named a team or a player after me I felt great pride. It means either they respect me or I've gotten to them.
