As it stands right now coordinating is the most thankless job in this game. You do your job well and the dots get praised. Things fuck up, you get the blame.

I'm not sure incentives is the best answer... a good answer, yes. But I once was an OC and DC and gave up simply because it swallows up WAAY too much of my time. If it's ever made much more simpler to work with and MUCH less time intensive to work on, then I'd try again. Right now it's just way too much effort for the result achieved. Still... any little thing helps.

I wouldn't go as far as to say a ~%20 player creation discount (XD) but more like...

- Free scrims for their teams or a team of their choice

- A special OC/DC tag/label on their homepage

- A system of points that allow you to own 5 teams when you coord. 5 seasons or more

I'm sure you guys can come up with something else but those are just a few examples. We need fresh minds and a new approach to coaching in this game. It seems that there is only Elite coordinators and guys trying to learn. This would make for less of the latter and more of the former IMO.

everyone will just want to OC/DC and will be terrible, wont put any effort into it just so they can have free scrims for their own team.

i like the last idea though. 5 teams of the same league type is what you mean.

Count me out of that "everyone", no carrot imaginable would make me want to coordinate with the current system.
