And I train using auto training with the top four attributes for each of my dots for most of their training, then when I get 10 skill points saved up I normally go ahead and use them on the #1 attribute.

Lolbars are only that because vision is overrated for things like oline/dline and then underrated for secondary.

Someone, I wanna say puma proved el can be lulzy by building a super confident ot or something.

At the end of the day tho your effective level is pretty meaningful.

It doesn't mean as much at the 20ish levels as some think.

You should look into circle capping. Learn that and maybe start some new guys instead of wasting any FP in the ones you have now. Not that what your doing is wrong, there are tons of ways to build. But once you reach the higher levels your guys will be surpassed by others. Unless youre happy with playing on mediocre PRO teams or reg pro.

Your problem is that you think "now" matters. You might be good now, but as time passes you will start being less good, and then actually "meh", then mediocre, then plain bad.

Most of the success in building a player well comes from the first 56 days of his career. If you go below EL this soon, you will never recover fully, so no matter what we will tell you, you will always be several steps behind.

Generally, you will want to make sure you push your primary attribute high enough. High enough is somewhere between 77 to 91, most often 83 or 87. You should also try and make sure you raise major attributes before minor attributes. Another important issue is training. You should multi-train 4-way for the most part of your player's career. Some people start earlier, some later, but as a rule of thumb, if you're not 4-way multiing by day 14ish ... You're gonna be losing out. There are ofcourse specialized builds, but these are for the very experienced, aka, not someone who needs to create a thread about this.

And ofcourse, as you have been told above, do not spend any SP, ever, unless that will get you to the next cap.

If your doin it right for end game you should be higher el than actual level.

I haven't even done my stuff perfect and all my level 27's are el 29.

Make sure you don't miss out on training your player daily, boost your player each season, and check up on their EQ that it's all full upgraded and equipped.

You can definitely make up for lost effective levels.

There are things I can do right now to bump my 27 up to 29 EL in a split second. That's just not the way I'm building him, though.

Only way you could do that is by trading BTs in for SP or boosting him. Spending Sp doesnt raise it right away.

I think you're confusing EL with player value.

Does EL go off your EQ or VAs? If so, thats news to me. And either way it wouldnt make your EL go up 2. Doubtful anyway.

They are pretty much one in the same.

I can tell you from experience that dumping SPs into an attribute and raising it dramatically will increase your EL. Your player value will not change, however.
