dam near ALL these pre " its1 way or another settings" are stupid as hell. Mr GLB totally ignores that football is the ultimate situational sport and each situation is very dynamic and can be attact in a multitude of ways.

we should never have to choose 1 dumbass setting for the entire game. who comes up with this chit anyway???

Yeah, that's why I never choose run or pass focus for my O-linemen. Don't really care for them having run focus on 3rd and 15 or pass focus for 3rd and 0.5. In the past when people pushed for more sliders and such I always fought it. Sad that those people thought I was trolling.

Linemen arent geniuses, but they should know when they leave the huddle what to block for.

Not to derail the thread, but O-linemen are pretty much right up there with QBs as far as on field intelligence.

(I guess that's why I was moved to D-line)

+1, The QB should be smart enough to know when to put air under a pass like a Corner Route and when to zip it in there like a Slant Pass.

The only argument in favor of keeping it that I can think of is that it gives, in theory at least, an aspect to the dot's play-calling that the actual agent has control over rather than the coordinator. That being said, there has to be a better system.

+1 to some degree.
