I'd rather see it always displayed, and just have it be useless if there isn't a next possession.

Just like at the end of the game, when they have the ball and the lead, and you need to hold them to have a chance at a comeback, but then you notice the next possession button is missing and say "crap... guess we lost"

When I'm DCing for someone I like knowing there isn't another possession when watching replays. Saves me a click or two.

agreed. make the button disappear with 5 minutes left in a game that's within 8 points.
