i cant believe that he has over 70 strength and over 50 agility, just put some points into stamina, speed and tackling and you can easily be one of the best in the game.

Thanks man!!

Strength is high enough to where I dont have to put points into tackling and I believe stamina to be overrated although I will put a few points into it later. Ill drop a couple into speed very soon since he always misses out on sacks because he's too slow.

you're new right?

you must know that no one has hit 100 yet and know if it physically caps out at 100, or if it caps out at 100 w/equipment - or if it even really caps out at 100...

solid build but yea you need some speed and stamina working on stam on my DT now haha

Stamina is overrated. I get 40-60 plays a game and I've never finished with below 70 energy. Could use some speed though. Whats a good speed number for a level 12? Ive heard 20-25.

I have a lvl 16 that's better, but that is nice for a lvl 12.

my 16 has 71 strength, 46 agility, 26 speed, 30 stamina, 26 vision, 18 confidence, 22 blocking & 26 tackling and about 7 more special ability points total.

that's roughly 50 more points total and only 4 levels higher.

and stamina isn't overrated.

How much energy you come out of a game with doesn't matter. You could have 20 stamina and come out of a game with the same energy as if you had 50 stamina. It all depends on if the sub-settings work for you or not.

higher stamina means more plays, which means you continue to level at faster rate, which means less time you're forcing backups onto the field, and even the quality of your play diminishes faster with low stamina -- which means just because you're in for 40 plays, doesn't mean you're getting 40 quality plays. It's very likely you play well below your ability for a large chunk of those plays, so in that regard pumping high stats everywhere just doesn't matter beyond your first few plays.

majority of my stats come from later in the games. He never starts the game good. This past game I had 1 hurry in the 1st half and 4 hurries in the 2nd half. 2 or 3 of them in the 4th quarter.

Hey JBrown. Very nice build, and I think you're setup for a solid DT going forward.

Cheers.

Speed needs to be 25+ at least (30+ imo) to be an effective pass rusher at ALL. It can easily be the last thing you pump if you're a NT that dominates the line of scrimmage, as high strength is always going to be your key.

That might be too much strength

you can never have too much stength.

Exactly what does this mean?

there is a post somewhere hiding that says once an attribute reaches 100 it is capped out officially - im not sure if that was an early development idea, or if it is something that actually is in the game code

since no one has got 100 yet no one knows

he was commenting on the fact that with equipment if you hit 100 earlier you'll lose points - but since no one is there, no one knows if (a) the cap exsists; and (b) if it does exsist, if equipment is taken into account for the 100, or if you can get over 100 by using equipment

Don't forget that once you hit level 22 or so, your auto-level points get cut in half.

Also, remember that agility > speed

Even with sub 20 speed if you have 50 agility you'll still shoot at the QB after you plow over the lineman. Good enough for a hurry.

I must admit, this is the first I've heard of this. Is this confirmed?
