Paypal processes over 5,000,000 transactions per day and is the primary merchant exchange medium for eBay, a 50 billion dollar company (who also owns paypal).
itunes wouldn't make much sense unless...in the business agreement itunes provided streaming music for GLB in the process. One hand must wash the other so to speak. Even then though seems silly.

Paypal is what I use and NEVER had any issues with it.Paypal insures your cash.
So you are suggesting that GLB suddenly split their profits 50/50 with Apple because one user doesn't know anything about PayPal and isn't sure if it is fraud? Sounds like a great business decision!
How about the fact that GLB has been using PayPal as the only means of buying flex since I signed up in 2009 (and I assume it has been since GLB started, but I cannot speak to that since I have not been here since the beginning) and to my knowledge there has not been a single outcry that PayPal is ripping people off and things must change.
Perhaps you should ask the entire business world to create an alternative to VISA/Mastercard/Discover... or have you actually heard of those?
I really dont understand why they dont just have a checkout with a virtual terminal on here like anywhere else. Its fairly simple to setup, anyone in e-commerce knows what im talking about.
whats so hard about getting a prepaid cash card logging into glb and buying flex. the flex is on your account the second u push the button. who cares where the money goes at that point and u throw the card away so theres no fraud. as easy as it gets

because you need to pay a fee to be able to accept credit cards. paypal is the cheapest and easiest service out there (other then maybe google checkout)

I know about the fee, but paypal charges a fee for using them anyways. I dont know what the exact amounts are but I htink we pay 2.1% for credit cards with American Express being a little higher.
Beyond just fee's, when you have a third party (paypal) handle the transactions, they also handle the issues (charge backs, payment issues, lack of funds/cancelled cards, fraud etc).
This means they don't need to possibly have additional staff handling more work or dealing with issues.
