This. Was waiting for the seasonal yello1 chemistry suggestion. Thanks for not disappointing.

Okay thats true I was forgetting the exact mechanics.

However my point still stands. Moving 22 men on your roster means you are still suffering a 2.1% loss, two point one times the boost received from the multi million gamebuck expense maximum game day promotion that is so powerful that its limited to two games a season. But that same team would suffer as much as a 2.1%, 1.9%, 1.7%, 1.5%, 1.3%, 1.1% for the first six games of the season and still suffer more or equal to the second most extreme and also limited game day promotion of .5% boost, for games 7, 8 and 9.

Its moronic.

Football teams are games for young men, in leagues fueled by free agency (or graduation if college or football). It is not a sport that requires people to know each others life histories or get their menstrual cycle in sync (which would still happen in the shared lodging preseason anyway).

What Bort was trying to simulate is not that big a deal in Football. Its talked about, its real, but its not a two to nine percent reduction to the entire frakking team's performance issue.

There are other ways to simulate the chemistry thing that does exist. I have suggested them before. And none of them would be as impactful to the game as this stupid frakking system.

I ain't getting enough plus ones.

Canon Jim may be in trouble.

FB build is not good - he should be retired anyway

start on day 40 with 100 chem
day 41 cut 22 dots = 78 chem
day 42 +1 chem = 79, sign 22 replacements = 57 chem
day 43 +2 chem = 59
day 44 +2 chem = 61
day 45 +2 chem = 63
day 46 +2 chem = 65
day 47 +2 chem = 67
day 48 +2 chem = 69
day -8 +2 chem = 71
day -7 +1 chem = 72
day -6 +1 chem = 73
day -5 +1 chem = 74
day -4 +1 chem = 75
day -3 +1 chem = 76
day -2 +1 chem = 77
day -1 +1 chem = 78
day 0 +1 chem = 79
day 1 +1 chem = 80 = start of season
day 11 you're at 90
day 21 you're at 100

not bad for swapping out 40% of the team

Have you ever thought about not having to turn over your roster every season? How about spend more time with less teams? How about keeping active forums? How about this novel idea, win more? It always amazed me that the people that always point to chemistry as the reason for them losing aren't as good at this game as they thing they are.

agreed

you can turn over 11 players every season and be at 95 chem for game 1 every season and always have a full roster of non declining dots if you plan right

Every team in my National Pro conference has chemistry issues with one or two exceptions.

Many are worse off than we are.

Your blame it on Yello routine does not hold water.

The current chemistry system rewards solo owners and big networks and fraks everybody else.

It needs fixing.

Well, if every team, or even most teams, have chemistry issues, then its a relatively level playing field. No change needed.

As for the advantage the few teams get, it diminishes rapidly as the other teams catch up. No change needed.

Its not that hard a concept to see that if you create a good team from the beginning and limit roster turnover, then chemistry isn't ever an issue. You don't need a huge network if you are a good Owner and have good agents. It doesn't necessarily reward networks or solo Owners in my opinion. It rewards Owners that simply know how to run a team long term. No change needed.

There were over 20 guys on the 2006 Patriots roster that were not on the 2007 Patriots roster.

The Pats went undefeated in 2007 cept that Super Bowl thing.

Do you think the Patriot players were two percent worse on the field on Game 1 because 20 some positions had been swapped out??????????????????????

They didn't win a game by less than two touchdowns till game 9.

THE CURRENT CHEMISTRY SYSTEM IS RIDUCULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No its not.

Because the teams that are network clubs will not have that issue, and they will romp even more so than the network builds usually do.

Someone suggested I could avoid this by "winning more". How do you win more if your team starts out with a 2% handicap?

Its not that hard a concept to see that reducing the performance of the "lesser" teams by two percent or more for half the season is setting them up for a cycle of failure.

Thats where I disagree. The majority of networks out there are run by morons.

You win more by avoiding the 2% handicap to begin with. Thats what I am trying to tell you. Start at Rookie. Limit turnover by building a team with agents who are with you for the long term. You set up the team before you even buy it. You then sign agents during the grace period.

you don't even need to sign during the grace period with level 1's

I understand trying to keep everyone together on your team so you don't have any chem issues... But I ran into an issue with a team that the owner rage quit (then i took over the team) but we lost all of his players and his cousins players, totaled around 30. Then obviously other agent got nervous and left. We lost around 40 dots total over it.

Now our chem is at 29. We'll be screwed all season... and thats not right that we got burned because of 2 agents
