Why not start peewee players at level 4 ? Wouldn't that solve the level 79 deal ?

This isn't about making PW dots into legit WL end builds. It's about making PW more attractive to the userbase imo.

The only way what you suggested could be done is by giving PW dots 3 free boosts or adding 300-900 flex to the creation costs. People are not going to want to be forced to shell out extra flex for a dot they plan to retire after one season. We're trying to figure out a way to save PW...not kill it. lol

It's obvious some ITT aren't even reading the op.

To all of those posting about this helping your dot hit lvl. 79...

right back at you. Amazing how there can be different opinions. It doesn't matter how great the ideas posted are, they can't be convoluted and complicated, or GLB will never be able to pull it off. There are too many bugs now that you would think are easy fixes, yet GLB can't seem to get it right.

I don't think GLB wants a league that runs parallel to, and competes, with their main game. A niche league where players can get to level 50 in one year will directly compete with the main format. I have seen that happen far to often in other mmorpgs. The minute you start seperating your game population into niche products the game dies.

Their are numerous reasons why peewee is suffering, but the biggest one is the players can't reach level 79. Fix that, and peewee will improve.

I agree with most of your idea but just being honest I'm unsettled on some of it. I do agree that this would change the culture of pee wee IF the dots were forced to retire at the end of each season. Good idea Gerr.

This idea is far from a finished project and like a few of you said, would likely be a sizable undertaking by GLB. But the main suggestion is sound, that being to change PW to a unique niche league with players that are forced to retire at the end of the season, ie one&done, and have someway to make it appealing to the upper level owners/agents, so leveling rules would likely need to be adjusted.

I would like to see a spin off server or something. It would be for the users who do not want to spend so many seasons to climb the ladder so that they may or may not make it to WL. Possibly make it a two season game with some kind of accelerated growth. Maybe GLB is missing the mark as a whole. I was bored to death until I found peewee. Recruiting sucked unless you were in some kind of system and I liked the idea of recycled players and competing right away. Peewee was like GB without the training wheels.

GLB has so much going for it. I just hope they can think outside the box a little.

I think that is already NGTH as well as 3 extra boosts for PW dots to get them to 79.

That's what I mean by thinking out of the box. Right now GLB has no competition really. If there was another awesome football sim that had a better structure GLB as any other business GLB could be phased out, much like they are doing to peewee agents themselves.

I am not going to jump through hopes and play a boring game because they have tunnel vision. I'll go back to playing space MMORPGs, or better yet go outside sometime.

We need to think outside the box with what is allowable. Adding initial points, an extra 10 or so initial SPs, and an extra SP or 2 with every level up is not NGTH afaik and would make a big difference. Of course these dots would have to be one season dots and would still level up as they do now. Would just give PW agents more SPs for their dots.

I see it as a reasonable compromise.

+1 I've never played Pee Wee but would be more interested in it if the dots weren't so limited in abilities.

Anything is allowable, just a lot holding this game back. The user base seems to be dwindling for a reason. By the time this game hits Alpha who is going to be left? A few networks that control the pros and no one else?

I've tried moving through the system. Most teams can't recruit full teams and fold before they really get going. Regular leagues just seem so imbalanced and boring. WL is awesome but it is not for everyone. Peewees give any user a chance to experience GLB and right away. Just my opinion.
