I actually think both might be under-powered. Refreshing to see that in a suggestion, erring on the side of caution.

As long as they come with corresponding penalties, I like them.

+1, also, I would modify the Never Give Up VA to include any time the defender falls, be it pancake, fumble recovery, or interception.

With interceptions currently happening way less often and in seemingly random situations only I'd love to see the defense get a couple of new choices in the secondary to help dots specialize at intercepting the ball.

Jump the Route VA - fires in Zone Coverage only

3% per Vet Point to the intercept roll for uncontested interceptions where the defender is far away enough from the receiver and 1% per Vet Point to the intercept roll in situations where the WR is covered by two or more defenders. If the WR is single covered or the defender is not in zone coverage the bonus wouldn't apply.

Take it to the House - only available to players at CB, FS & SS

Each point in the VA gives a 5% chance to eliminate the fall down on interceptions. 15 points would net a 75% chance to not fall down. The VA wouldn't add any bonuses to the actual return which would still be 100% based on build and position relative to the other dots, would only give a chance at not falling down and thereby at least having the possibility of Deion Sanders style returns which are fun to watch.

I really like both of these. IMO take it to the house should also have a 1% increase to the INT chance if a dot in 1v1 coverage (keeps it from stacking with the bump from the other VA). Realize that INTs are almost impossible right now so 15% is probably not a very big increase. 15% of 0 is still 0.

But WTHeck is with the fall down anyway? I can not recall ever seeing an interception in real football that caused the defender to fall down.

I would rather the second one be

"eliminate the fall down silliness. Take It To The House allows an defender to have a chance of a boost of speed upon making an interception. Each additional level increases the chance of the VA triggering and the amount of the boost to speed and agility." - basically a First Step that triggers only on interceptions.

Great suggestions. You could potentially add an additional morale penalty if Jump the Route fails to produce a deflection/INT and results in a big gain

So basically, you'd like over 3 times as many pick sixes per interception as real life.
