-1 until bort implements tuck and untuck mechanics.
i dont see the need until qbs can tuck and untuck on the same play

you obviously have never watched a replay of a QB that decides everyone of his receivers are covered, but there is some room to scramble.... every single Defensive dot IMMEDIATELY changes direction and converges on the QB. Not even a tick of hesitation. The way the suggestion is laid out would be a good starting point for Bort to work with, IMO

Basically this.
Tuck and untuck would be great, but it adds another layer of sim coding and mechanics that honestly seems like it would be a nightmare, at least initially.
This suggestion is a way to achieve the desired end without introducing complicated means. At least until Bort is willing/able to implement coding that would allow for tucking and untucking as well as a reaction by each defender to the tuck/untuck.
Also, even if tuck/untuck was introduced, I'd still hate to see defenders automatically converge on the QB when he tucks. This suggestion would probably still need to be implemented otherwise you'd just be seeing QBs sacked on scrambles half the time and throwing TDs to completely uncovered receivers the other half. There probably wouldn't be any in between.

u mean when the qb decides to run not scramble theres a difference for the purpose of the sim. when the qb scrambles he is still in pass mode so the def wont converged or react to the qb unless he pumps fakes. once he decides to run which puts him in run mode the def stop playing pass def . (thats the issue the qb cant change his mind)
that was my main point
add something that allows the qb to change his mind between run mode and pass mode and give the def a tactic option and this problem goes away.

how hard would the vision chk be to a 90+ vision secondary. would it even make a difference? i think not but thats my opinion.
however if bort is going to start somewhere i guess i can accept this as a starting point.

wr/te etc instantly start run blocking when the qb decides to run so that will have be change until the qb crosses the LOS
