But when a CB fights off a Blocking TE and\or Blocking FB, then makes a 1 v 1 tackle 9 out of 10 times... not to mention some of the CB's still have the 60 - 66 tackle bar, ok with the CB's with the 72+ (but still haven't seen a CB with BB%)

Games all about speed, just when you think you should start rounding your toon out, you spaz cause you should a took speed higher lol

Not at all. I haven't even looked at him yet. But I know he had nothing really long distance.

Outside rushing was tough this season, DBs much better tacklers now

the boost to reaction time vs the run earlier this ssn is a huge part of the problem. it helped stop the unstoppable inside run game of the pressn but killed the outside runs.

Outside runs blow this ssn. It's also lame that defenses can blitz everyone inside and still react quick enough to tackle 160+ speed hb's on pitches, sweeps being called against the grain, behind the los.

Yea, pass blitzing works well against inside runs, outside runs, and passes without a blocker held back. Throw in a CB blitz with 1 LB blitzing and you're set against the run and the pass

spot on except it can be done with all LB's too

Pass blitzing works even against a hb held in.

lack of speed is not the issue on outside running, imo

lolno...I have seen 160+ Speed backs not be able to beat a MLB with sub 150 speed to the edge.

Shed more blocks with more speed, more KL's with more speed.

This is the worst season for rushing that has been in WL. Usually there is at least 1 or 2 HB's that break or get close to 2000. Not one even went over 1500 this season. TD's are a bit lower too, but the number of TD's being reached aren't by the HB's who you'd usually expect. I have noticed over the seasons that those Backs who put up high rushing yard numbers don't necessarily put up high TD numbers.

Thats because outside running is virtually worthless.

I don't think anyone has talked about that facet of the running game quite yet.
