Yes, actually it is very odd to have end times to games instead of start times.

Yeah. I am actually okay with the "the game actually sims as much as 60 minutes before the game time" thing. But the apparent move to "65-70 minutes" is an annoying variation.

I have never seen one of my games start simming more than an hour before posted time, but if they should ever do so....... all the better. I'm on the other end of the spectrum and can't wait for them to finish so I can watch them. Of course I always game plan for the next game once mine is finished.... no last minute stuff for me.

How is having a firm "game does not run before this time" a bad thing?

Being able to schedule your GLB day is a good thing customer service wise.

Especially with insta scrims and tournaments where you might be swapping AIs around or using the late scrims to adjust a new AI (as I was trying to do on this particular occassion).

But in any situation you should ba able to know that a 7PM game will not start to sim before 6PM.

I've never seen a game run early. Lots of late one, never an early one.

Is that a second opinion?

Opinion? Don't know what you mean, the statement is simple. Never seen a game run before it is suppose too run. If it's a 1600 game for example, it has to be run by 1600 and there's a nice explanation out there how that happens. But, if using this example, never seen one run before 1500.
