I see this hurting the game as far as new players who just set it up wrong and let their dots messed themselves up.

Other than that, it's a +1.

There would be nothing automated about it. That would be different from the training/tactics editors. It would still have to be manually done, but instead of going through massive amounts of links/pages, it would just contain it all in an easy to read format on one page.

I suck at trolling lol. And the designing of something is usually the hardest part. I just don't see realistically how all of the sikill points would fit there with +/-'s and still look good.

Well, I'm absolutely horrible with paint. Take a look at the quick training editor. Picture the exact same thing, but change regimen to skill points to assign....the drop down box would still have the individual attributes, but the second box would be replaced with a +/-. Then you could do the exact same thing for veteran abilities. VA's assigned would show up, but the drop down box would contain all VA's available to the player and the second drop down box would be replaced with a +/-.

Easy- I described my ideal design for the quick utility page and it got worked out. You just describe what goes where, column by column if necessary.

I agree with numone. While the idea sounds interesting, it find it hard to figure out how it would all fit on a single line and how the information would convey at a meta level. Training works because you can only train attributes. There is a set number of attributes you can train- period. With SPs, you have attributes, eleven SAs, plus any additional SAs the person may have unlocked with BTs. In addition, the SAs may not be available to have points applied if the lower SA in the tree level isn't reached, but if you apply SPs to all with a single click, does it validate all of those and return errors on the one's it can't? Do the SAs display with AEQ or without? The SP page currently does without, but that leads me jumping back and forth at times to check. And there is the potential for applying too many SPs in one SA if you aren't careful.

Again, I think the idea is intriguing, but needs some thought put into the design to make it feasible.
