Partial mod powers, so moreover now your just worried someone will take your precious mod powers away?
There is nothing sketchy about the idea and not one person has yet to make any kind of meritable claim as to how it could in any way generate or even effect the way someone can/will cheat the game.
Sounds to me what you guys need is to monitor IP addresses like every other game similar to this, not doing so is pretty sketchy in my opinion, probably admins don't care about multis at all or they would already have a built in system that is pretty much impossible to go around (at least in the way that it would make a lot of sense to continue doing it in the time it would take to even log in on a daily basis if you did go around it).

You sound like me in my first year on here. You can't let people get to you on the forums. It only makes you seem clueless and weak minded. This is never a good strategy for building a rep around here....at least a good one.

I will +1 your suggestion because it really doesn't make sense to allow a thread to stay on the server with no words in the 1st post and "Thread Locked by Moderator" for the 2nd just taking up space and slowing down Bort's hamster

I'm not entirely sure why this is not an option, but if you start a thread or make a post you should have the option to delete it at least from public view.
I could see where you would want to keep an admin-viewable version of all post for moderating purposes, but at the same time I should be able to remove my post if I want to.

Lets say you start a thread "I dominate everyone in this league" everyone responds as one would expect if you think logically and trolls you... you should be able to delete the thread and eliminate the grounds for which to be trolled... forcing me to leave it around when I started it makes little sense to me.
I've used forums that went each and every way with this, but never once have I used a forum that allows post editing forever (I've seen some that let you edit just after you post for x amount of minutes but none for forever) that don't also let you delete your own threads/post.
