Don't like this at all, I Coordinate, but would really dislike having the ability to see everything a player is doing. If I want that much control I'll build my own players.

Not this again.

-100000. It would become mandatory to do what the team owner said with YOUR tactics on YOUR dot, or you'd be benched or even rotted.

There has to be something that agents-only players get to decide for themselves.

Selfishly, I'd love to see those tactics when I OC. But it wouldn't be fair to the agents of the dots to deprive them of the one choice they can make without interference.

Well said.

The game has already shifted heavily to owners and coordinators. The fun of building dots has been completely sucked out of GLB. We don't need to log in more than once every other day to check out game stats and to make sure we boost...

This suggestion only furthers owner control...

If the players YOU signed won't use the tactics YOU want, maybe you should scout better.

+1 to this again, for all the reasons stated in all the previous suggestion threads on the subject.

That's just the point: how do owners/coaches know whether they set the tactics we asked for? We never know.

Their names

but seriously, I don't see a problem with showing tactics. The main thing is to try to get the playcalling to work around the kind of tactics that the dots use. Like Play Type Focus, you wouldnt want to put a Run bonus linebacker in for a passing situation, and vice versa. Besides, players builds are already the deciding factor as to whether or not dots see the field, and those have an option. my 2 cents

Should add this in the players contract. The option to make public to the teams OC and DC. This way if that person does not agree and you want them to. Well you and that dot will have to find other avenues.

So you can't punish people for not slavishly following your tactics. That's the problem. There tactics are given to the agents for a reason.

Actually, the contract idea is not a bad one. Then you know up-front if an owner requires this, and can refuse to sign on that basis. If most agents don't want to go with this, then owners will have to stop demanding it in order to get the best dots, and things will work out that way. Power would actually lie with the agents, en masse.

As to "there's no I in team," what if you think the OC or DC or whoever tells you how to set your player is wrong (about what is best for the team)?

Well Teams already have Tactics posted on what they want (If their competetive) So I don't see why they shouldn't be able to make it to where they can see if their agents are listening or not... The goal of some teams is TO WIN and the agents on that teams goal is TO WIN...

IMO This should be an option and on a Dot Builders perspective it should be an option

IN AN OWNERS PERSPECTIVE, it should just be implemented and be able to see it all.... so my +1 with this as an Option (And if it works well then it can be switched to automatically)

Right there. That is a major reason why I dislike this. It evolves from being an option into being mandatory.

The goal of everybody is to win, but I as an agent may have a different view of what will help the team win than my Owner/OC/DC has.

One example, of which the numbers are very rough as it was a long time ago (before my long hiatus), is that I had a pass rushing DE. He might have been Level 40, with Tackling no higher than 40. The DC wanted the entire defensive line (obviously including him) on Power tackling. That would have meant a lot of missed tackles. I stayed on Wrap-Up and he never knew.

I think I aided the team by my disobedience. It's possible someone will disagree. But in the end it comes down to the question of whose decision it was, and it's mine. I paid for and built the player. It was my call, in the end. And I shouldn't have faced punishment for making it.

The player shouldn't set his or her's own tactics. The owner/coordinators set tactics for a reason, to win. The goal of GLB (for most people): Win. So I don't know why the player wouldn't set tactics in the first place. If agents realized tactics are made to help you win, then they'd set them and we wouldn't have this problem.

+1. Being part of a team is a commitment, and setting tactics is part of that.

do people get punished for having their builds closed now? This suggestion is no different.
