I could be wrong and dont wanna speak for JD, but I'm pretty sure he's just talking about the level 8 upgrade instead of using it for the custom tree.

yes but what red is saying, don't allow someone with 12 bonus SA's to pick that tree and suddenly have +1 to 12 different SA's.

For me i'd have to -1 this suggestion in general since it allows someone to pick their own SA's to enhance. I would guess that most positions have SA's in a tree they don't care about as much so they technically aren't getting the benefit they would want out of an entire tree. But thats part of the cost.

If this were done, then they might as well make the CE upgrade: Assign 5 points into any SA you want, but only 1 point per individual SA. That way it would be fair not just to LB's but to everyone.

However i doubt that is likely going to happen. Probably have more chance trying to come up with a new SA list for LB's that bort would accept (which is probably pretty low)

pretty sure it is, but that was a long time ago. The general idea is that it would lead to too much grief to players who were already plateaued etc and could not change their build to adjust

Couldn't the powers that be announce a change now, to implement in 5 season's time or so?

Regardless, I +1 the suggestion just to show that something should really be done about this.

Yup. You're talking about one point added to the SA. Who could not only find the bonus tokens to add 6+ bonus SAs but actually get them up to meaningful levels without fucking up the build? Doesn't seem like a legitimate objection.

What about simply making the bonus add +1 to 4 different SA's (your choice) instead of a tree? Would allow more player differentiation and varying builds.

Just a thought.
