so my question to you is instead of looking like a pompous ass why not take the advice and see if it works. then if it doesn't and you have proof that it doesn't you post it and continue with the arguement. if it does work then you move onto one of the other 50 suggestions you will have made in that time frame.
THANK YOU!!!!
Yello1 if you didn't get this let me sum it up for you...
STFU until you give the guys advice a shot
I am sorry if it came off that way, I didnt mean for it too.
LOL okay just looked at what you are talking about.
Truth to tell, I was confusing this thread with the one about the TE and the LOLB and coverage distance. So my reply is not on point.
I will come at it tomorrow, have to get something done and bolt atm.

maybe just laybe if you would try to resolve 1 issue at a time you wouldn't make yourself look like a dipstick. stop with teh shotgun approach to suggestions and work on 1 thing at a time until the suggestion has run its course.
Careful Hatch, mods might toss a ban stick at you for mass bumping. Even on less high strung forums thats a no no.
As for the suggestions, I post them when they come to mind. If I dont then they wind up forgotten or sitting in a note half done like my Player Rivalry idea.
Okay to the team working stuff - poof -

If I get a ban for doing what I am doing here then I will gladly accept it. because if a Mod can't understand the reasoning behind it they are either blind or just plain out of touch with reality.
maybe you should hit that report button Yello1 that might help you more than your shotgun suggestions do.

The reason is that you are trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Without a mole in it.
Over a two week period I made what was it? Ten suggestions?
On the forum that Bort made for players to post suggestions.
Even if I posted three a day, every day, for a year - that is what the forum is FOR.
I mean seriously Hatch.

I don't think it's the quantity of your suggestions people have a problem with as much as the quality.

reduce the aggressiveness in tactics, that will reduce. move the coverage guy closer to the box it will reduce.

Tactics. Get off simi aggressive on coverage, go lose and make a bigger coverage cushion. The defender won't try to close as fast. Of course, just like that simi aggressive tactic you are probably using now, it has a down side. Instead of getting busted on as he does now, if you use tactics similar to what I wrote, you wont be making interceptions and the HB will almost always make his catch/run.
Okay now that I have your reply associated with the right complaint (in another situation a LOLB was not maintaining distance to a man cover but opening it despite settings, another issue)...
I still do not quite see how this will help.
The LOLB here is looking to pick up the man in coverage, and instead of seeing that the HB is going into a pass route, he instead acts like the HB is blocking and moves into his zone secondary assignment.
I assume you mean aggressiveness setting in terms of pass rush. But that just determines how quick a jump the defender makes going into Blitz doesn't it? Like for a DE, whether he tries his hardest to blitz the QB or saves a bit to improve his chances of seeing a screen or sweep and moving out to the flat?
Does aggressiveness even apply to the vision check for man covering a HB????
Cool if it does but on its face, by the terms in the description, it would not seem to.
Not that this would be the first feature badly described in game. But if there is more to it than that I would love to hear how it actually works.
OR
If you mean aggressive pass coverage setting, doesnt that only matter if he is already in man coverage? Here the LOLB is not going into man, he is acting like his vision check said the HB isnt running a route and then went to his zone back up. He doesn't go back into man cover until the HB crosses the line of scrimmage. But by then its too late, the HB is wide open and able to cut to stay that way.

See, thats how I was feeling about the quality of the responses to my suggestions.
But you do not see me suggesting you all be banned from posting on the forum, do you?
Its the Internet. Its not only fireproof. Its also idiot proof.
So post away!
*grin*
^ that means I am kidding, don't take it seriously. Idiot Proof was just too cute to pass up.

that is exactly how we feel about your suggestions. you always try to come across as a know it all in this forum. and friend you are not none of us are if we were we would have borts job and not sitting his pissing and moaning about a game.
you on the other hand have compared yourself to edison and ford which friend I will quickly tell you that you are not even close to those men. You are a pompous jackass for the most part that tries to portrait that you are of a higher intellect than most people on this game. yet for someone that is supposedly so much smarter than the rest of us. those smarts haven't done a thing to help you on this game much at all. you continually field crappy teams and your players from what I have seen aren't even remotely close to some of the better dot builders I have seen on this game.
so my advice to you is simple instead of you trying to portrait yourself as being smarter and more knowledgeable than the rest of us. have some proof that you are apply yourself and win some trophies. show everyone that we should actually take the time to listen to what you ramble on about. and stop trying to come across as a total jackass.

Hatch, you take this all way too seriously.
We are just having fun here. Relax.
reading your constant BS isn't fun. seriously how can you not understand that? you may like to hear your head rattle but others do not.
and no I do not take this as seriously as you actually think. alot of the time I am just messing with you to some extent. other times you get on my freaking nerves because if someone -1s one of your suggestions you expect them to explain everything to you. then when they take the time to actually do that you come back at them like some know it all jackass.
seriously go back and read some of the threads and don't look at who made what post then look who starts most of the crap.

set him to loose coverage style. zero cushion. see what happens.
Usually see that type of behavior when another receiver gets close to the defender before the defender gets on his man. move your defenders and/or change who covers who so they don't cross.
