Currently CPUs are just fine as stop gap players.

But zero fun. No numbers to ponder, no edges or disadvantages to scheme around. Boring.

So, are there enough players then? And then its okay for owners to buy more teams?(No there aren't enough players thus your argument in the other thread was wrong. you remember the argument that there were actually enough players to fill all those CPU teams in Nat Pro. you were the one that said there were enough I am just wondering why you will contradict yourself here to basically just help your team?)

Or there arent and my OP has a purpose? No there is no purpose to your thread except that you need something for your team and instead of trying to work to fix it yourself. you want Bort and Co to code a fix for you)

Do try to be consistent. (you should follow your own advice here since you were indeed the one that argued there was enough players in Nat Pro to field full teams if GLB allowed you to own more teams)

As for my varying the theme its about situational shortages. Not overall lower player numbers.
( apples and oranges this arguement goes hand in hand with your suggestion asking to own more teams) (neither of the ideas need implemented and neither are needed by anyone except you)

didnt you recently argue that cpus were too good, and now you want better ones? honestly, just how much attention do you need to be happy?

I actually miss recruiting CPUs the old way. Using search to find CPUs and then compare their lolbars before offering was actually mildly entertaining. Now we just hit a button and receive a name.

I can see your confusion but these are totally different issues.

I was talking about CPU teams, not just a guy here or there. The penalty I proposed was solely for teams with more than X number of players. Bort implemented the basic idea at 10 players. Forget what my number was but it was something like that.

This idea here would not be anywhere near that. Maybe one or two players on a team at a time, since it would only be for positions that were in very high demand in that age bracket.

And also one of the considerations was that the CPU teams were made of free players. The idea here is about making extremely expensive one time rental CPUs. So, again, totally different.

But yes in general CPU is not desirable. However if there are so few of a position available that its that or cross dress another position and eat a 10% performance loss, this idea should be a nice alternative to consider.

Not at all, lad. Not at all.

And as I noted that last TE had a solid green bar of interest. I am not sure how many teams that means had offers out to him but it sure as hell wasnt just me, particularly since I didnt have an offer out to him at that point.

Yeah, if they are going to be there they should be interesting at least.
