I'm pretty satisfied with the projections

Based on previous results its no wonder that we are mathematical favorites against Assassins. However, when you take into account that they have boosted several of their players today the situation is reversed and we are the clear underdogs.

We need quite a bit of luck to get away with a W in this one.

I don't expect a lot of accuracy

Hooray, we are projected to win two games!!!!

(Orlando Mambas here)

...my team is stuck in a perpetual state of suckiness. My players are high level enough to compete and I cannot make money from ticket sales which keeps me from bringing in better players through free agency which keeps me at a disadvantage...any suggestions?

Levels aren't the determining factor of how good players are, it's all about builds. For example, say a level 20 has spent 20 skill points on skills that aren't vital... they're really a level 16 that has a good build. Work on correcting your player's builds and you'll see an improvement.

Once you're team is corrected, then it comes down to game planning each week.

It generally takes a couple seasons to get a team corrected (if your players are willing to listen). Also, you may want to look at salaries... financial balancing is pretty important for teams. If you're paying players way too much, it can really hurt a team.

My team is doing better than last season, but I agree with this. It is also my biggest issue with this game. Hosting playoff games gives you alot of money to play with, and winning streaks improve fan support alot. Both of these help rake in alot of extra dough.

If you're having a bad season, fan support goes down, lower morale, no playoff money, etc. The rich tend to get richer and the poor tend to get poorer. I'm not an expert on the NFL, but the draft and salary caps seem to be 2 of the things designed to try and help bad NFL teams get better. That doesn't exist here, and the best hope is that the really good teams move on to the next league to give the worse teams a better chance the next season.

Actually hosting playoff games is not that big a deal anymore. If you make it to the first round you get $100K whether you host the game or not. If you make it to the second round, $300K. Third round 500K.

Other then that, your right in that it will take some teams a long time to get better. It will be a real challenge for some owners.

USA Pro should be a little simpler to predict, due to the static nature of the league + 2+ seasons worth of data.

I haven't seen the same results anywhere else, have you?

So far the results have been fairly accurate, other than the Akron/Alpine game. Though I believe someone said Akron boosted, which would make sense in the difference. Good win Akron btw.

Anchorage/Trojan 41-10 (64-11)
San Diego/Houston 42-3 (50-31)
Reno/RM 26-23 (19-17)
Omaha/Corvallis 58-0 (39-4)
Albuquerque/Dakota 70-3 (39-3)
Chattanooga/Oakyville 33-10 (33-20)
Hyborian/Kalamazoo 16-10 (23-14)
San Francisco/Ambridge 34-12 (35-5)

Schenectady/Klamath 3-26 (15-9)
Alpine/Akron 6-23 (13-10)

Wow, 42-3 and it predicted 50-31... Wow! Al/Da 70-3 when it predicted 39-3.. got the 3 right, the rest look acurate though. Not really big differences.

The Alpine/Akron game was almost a blowout, I was expecting a big scoring game, not a one sided game, was looking forward to a huge once in a life time game we'd remember for the rest of our lives.
