Problem is that through promotions it's inevitable.

I agree. But I suspect GLB's model relies on the people who prefer easy wins. More winners=more happy customers=more spending. Thus, lots of half empty/uncompetitive leagues are seen as a good thing.

It was done in the name of making sure every single dot had a team. Shit leagues will kill this game off much faster than a few random terribad builders that can't sign on with a human owned team.
But this. Whatever they are gaining from the people who win easy games and easy leagues and think "oooo, I'm great at this game, have another $100", they are probably losing from people long bored of winning like that, who are leaving the game, or not spending money anymore.

that is exactly what is going on the time that I spend on this game and the money I spend is coming to a slow and painful end. The sad thing is I used to be all about the regular leagues and striving to get to WL and make a name for myself. but I seriously got tired of the drama and all the crappy leagues. I actually had more fun in a rookie casual league this season than I have in a long time. and it was due to most of the games being somewhat competitive.

That's the reason next season I'm just fielding a peewee team with my own dots. It's more fun to just screw around now than it is to try to win the higher tiers. No satisfaction in moving up the ladder when Pro is so horrible. WL created a vacuum to begin with and the shrinking userbase has just compounded the problem.

I have plans of fielding an all CPU roster and taking it to the playoffs since you can do that now.

And I think we should be restricted to one of each league type as well. Pretty retarded to see two or three teams owned by one person in the same league.

isn't this why unlimited D-leagues were created? there doesn't need to be surplus teams when there are always d-leagues for wayward dots

I agree with getting rid of the CPU teams but take a look... they are making sure the Conferences are full. And human owned
teams with CPU rosters.... well, I've done that before a restart. Just haven't done it for more than one season. Maybe there needs

As to the OP.......... it might just be a good idea to go back to the Waiting List. So...........

anyone else got anything to add or is this a idea that no one thinks is important enough to get behind and try to get implemented
IMO you should be able to buy teams that go CPU during the season starting at day 20.
But every day 41 rollover take all the CPU teams back and then distribute them to the people on the list. Seems easy enough
