No doubt that the blocking mechanics of this game has always been Achilles heel

I just think it's silly that the line lets the 1 lb with the shortest path to the QB as the guy that goes untouched and not the lolb who has the farthest

X can do things that 31 other dots cant, so it's not entirely on the blocking logic, sure it is to some extent, but that same blitz from other teams gets blocked a fair share.

The exploit blitzing is still there, but it's a hell of a lot better than it was a few ssns ago.....really I wish OC's had the ability to tag......, but i doubt that will ever happen.

yeah .. i mean i'm not so blind to the fact that X is breaking the sim. but im also well past the point of being the bigger person in a game and winning without some cheese. there is lame on so many levels

the game is moving farther and farther away from being any type of coordinator chess match. i have to assume that's bort's desire since im not sure anyone is enjoying things today.

I didnt see hate, you are just talking the game, but in all seriousness, Adibi breaks the sim, dot is that sick. There's teams that run that blitz not as often, but I dont even hold guys back as I look at their blitzes throughout the season and they just dont get there more often than not.

Nothing special about X compared to other blitzing LBs, in fact he is rather far behind the best ones now.

To fix the blitz and blocking problems, adding a dynamic defensive dot positioning system to the game would be a very elegant solution. Making dots line up a little bit different each time (less errors based on vision and confidence) would make blitzing a bit more of a gamble (adding realism) and also make the game look a lot better since the defense wouldn't line up exactly the same every time.
