We would not be the first team to "trump the list". Per Thorn from a PM earlier this week, when an owner goes inactive, they first allow an active GM from the team to purchase ownership.

The other solution is that we lose all three franchises and you have five teams that will roll six deep with level 20+ guys at each position starting with Africa Pro.

LOL, how many level 20 guys will want to join a gutted team. You might have left some money for the poor guy, but he won't be able to do squat with it. He's only going to be able to get lower level players, who want's to play for a gutted team. That means less competition in my league. I am not happy about that.

i can tell Sprorvo handled all the "business end and HR sense" because you really suck at it. If it wasn't for the gimmick marketing your other teams wouldn't have the players they do, and would know what it's like to be a real owner. You'd know that higher level players, players that can compete in USA AA#1 and Canada AAA (2 of the best leagues in the game) are few and far between on the FA market and teams won't trade those kinds of players for cash.

What you are doing is gutting, try and justify it however you want. It's still gutting, you are taking teams that are competitive and dismantling them, leaving the new owner with just cash.

It really is a shame that Sprorvo isn't around I would've loved to play against your "orginization":

I wouldn't be surprised. They gave the impression the list was the new absolute deal. If that isn't so then that isn't so and it's all good.

Get over it, I Would give my players opt out clauses, they did not agree to play for the new owner and should not be forced to play for a guy who might be a bad owner or untrustworthy...I Would feel like an ass if the new owner came in and got all my players mad and ruined the team.

Anyone that starts from scratch is going to start with money and CPU players. If he takes over a team from a previous owner, he will have the previous salaries to deal with plus filling roster holes and won't have the same amount of cash the first guy started with.

Tell you what, next time an owner on this game goes inactive their GMs can PM you and you can decide what they should and should not do. Obviously, the right thing to do was leave the players on the team even though most of them did not want to stay, vacate the franchise, and cut ties with anyone we knew from it. Seriously, if this were YOUR team and those were YOUR agents, what would you do? Obviously, if you have one team then it makes it simple, pick up ownership of a squad, but since SProvo bought three teams back when that was legal it makes it a bit more complicated especially considering while you see PLAYERS (virtual creations) I see AGENTS (real people spending money on this game). While the players are all different, a lot of the agents that own them are the same from team-to-team.

I wanted to finish the season out with all three teams with rosters in-tact, but I never got a confirmation that it would be allowed. I don't control when GLB Admins step in for inactivity, but I can control when I start trying to relocate players preparing for what is eventually going to happen rather it happens now or at the end of the season. Losing Sprovo's teams was not a question of if, but a question of when. As of tomorrow, they have the right to step in and have the CPU take control of the teams as per the rules. I did not intend to leave Agents who did not want to be there on those teams. Even with it as it is, not everyone could be gotten out of there tonight. If you will also notice in my original post, I ask the admins to clear both rosters saving you and I from this mess about "OMG Collusion!!!". Our original plan was to cut EVERYONE and re-sign whoever wanted to while the rest could look for work elsewhere.

Hey! I've got news for you, you are an ass! You could have resigned contracts and given him to the end of the season. That's half a season to evaluate the guy and maybe even recruit him into your big gay franchise. Wouldn't have been much of anything lost there. Instead you took the high road and gutted a team...wait...no...I guess that isn't the high road is it?

You are one of the smartest people I have ever met, may be it's hard to figure out but I am not involved with USORG, I agree with what they are doing though, I am a stand up classy owner who does not stab my guys in the back so I am not going to sell the team and leave them all on a team with a new owner, it's common courtesy to give a player you recruited an opt out clause instead of stabbing him in the back and leaving him on a team with some new owner.

Yep that's a way to show intelligenc, someone makes a logical arguement and you respond with an insult. Way to go big boy. Go ahead and think that of me, I don't care what you think because this is the internet and I don't know or care who you are.

LOL, Where just trying to sell me that the guy wouldn't have enough money to pay the saleries when you where just talking about how your leaving him with so much money. It's still gutting, however "noble", you THINK your being. The players on the team are real people spending money on this game and so is the new owner that's going to be handed a crap team in a very competitive league. You could've taken steps to make sure your guys got off the team at the end of the season if the new owner was an ass. Instead you decided to gut the team. Don't try to paint a pretty picture about it. It is what it is, another competitive team being gutted.
