Absolutely, without all their hard work this would be a very boring game.

I like the idea too.
I'm not so fond of the idea of yards being the sole deciding factor as described though. I have the 10th passing D in my conference, but we've only allowed 4 passing TDs. Someone on the previous page suggested the "Total Defense" value which seems to be calculated on a more balanced formula. I'd vote for that.
In general - I'm for any kind of awards that provide useful clues in respects to how a player and/or agent does. Awards are a nice way to, at a glance, see if there is definitely something worth looking at. True, getting an award in Casual #7 isn't as impressive as Elite #1 or whatever - it still gives an indication that the person is worth looking at a bit more closely.

also i think coordinators should get awards/trophies for the tourneys they win aswell, obviously you get a trophy for the official tourneys, but the user created tourneys only the team gets the trophy with no reward for the coordinator that got the team that trophy in the first place!

I like it!!!! coordinators are under appreciated. If a player could get awards for coordinating, then maybe more people would learn how to do it
