Based on my very limited knowledge of the teams here in WEPL I threw together a top 8 power rankings for discussion. It’s based on perceived roster strength and the performance in the two first weeks of the pre-season.

1. Porto People Eaters

- Dominated Portland in the first week of the pre-season putting up 640 yards on offense. Followed up with a nice win today.

2. Portland Rag
e
- Being a run first team the changes to GLB this season should fit Portland very well and make them the team to beat in Alpha.

3. Hood Gods
- A young team that will hit their peak mid-season. Looks like the team to beat come playoff time.

4. A Team of Ice and Fire
- Beat Cincy in strong defensive showing in pre-season week 1. As, Portland, this team is running the ball effectively, but struggles throwing the ball. Without improving that part of the game, making it out of WEPL and up to the WL might prove difficult?

5. London Underground
- Lost by a score to Portland today after turning the ball over four times. Should challenge for a home playoff game this season.

6. Alpine

- Together with Hood, Alpine is the youngest team among the contenders this season. Might struggle a bit early, but should be ready to roll when the calendar says day 34.

7. Cincinnati Stoners
- Good win against Mexican today after a sad offensive showing against Ice and Fire in the first week of the pre-season.

8. Dirthy South Brew Crew

- 2 wins so far this pre-season with a nice mix of veteran dots and younger guys.

preseason doesn't mean much, but we do have some young dots that will be studs for us come playoffs. Hopefully we can make some more noise in the playoffs. Thanks for doing this Cav

I would say, Alpine is a bit low as well ...... but I understand you didn't want to be biased. Looks pretty accurate, IMO.

I think Alpha comes down to Ice and Fire and Portland, period. (inb4DirtySouthcommentsonlastseason)

i have mad respect for y'all, but can't throw last season in your face, because it does not mean much now. We just have to make the playoffs and looking around the league we should. I still say the playoffs is a different sim.

Just saying Cav, Misfist are young also, Im pretty sure over half our team gets to boost around day 17, If only we had high Eff level Punter, Kicker and Centers. but we lack eff level in those 3 spots. But i would say where it matter though, our dots are On par with the top teams in Wepl for sure.

London has done some things last season but its HOOD vs. Alpine in the only big game of the season. Winner of that rolls the alpha rep.

I wouldnt argue that you 2 are likely the faves - just I know how strong Ourselfs, Cincinnati and the likes of Porto are too. I see a bit of a drop off from 5th to the next....

Big gap after the top few. Cinci is in between the top group and the drop off.
