Warrior General Games

A little insight in the Windy City Bears locker room a few days before tonights game (profanity included):

Next week is it, it's our Superbowl. It is the battle of the defeateds, 0-7 Windy City Bears at the 0-7 Kansas City Incinerators. Both teams suck, bad. KC is trying to rebuild, we are trying for xp. Next week we need to actually game plan, we need to play on hard, we need to leave it all on the processor.

No matter how much I don't care how the Bears do this season. I don't want to loose to a team that has lost their last 27 games. That is a slap in the face. I am considering Boosting Petro and DeHarris for this game, I wont, but I am kind of considering it.

Rcrum, nsd, lets put together a game plan that will kick them in the balls. Settings for the ages. Something our players in the future will look back on and say "thank Bort we won that fucking game".

We don't get a #1 pick if we lose, we are the laughing stock of BBB8 if we lose. But if we win we can point and laugh at KC taunt them, ridicule them. Go on the BBB8 forum and watch other teams bedowngrade them.

In a GLB week we play the Kansas City Incinerators, lets make them the worst team in the division. We proved today we can hit our goals. @ 12:30 cst we lost to the Heat 0-166. I challenged you same players to hold them under 160 and you know what? 19 hours later we did more than that we held them under 150!!!! That shows a team with heart. It shows we are not on this team just for XP, we are on this team not to get embarrassed and believe me if we lose to KC we will be embarrassed.

If west were here today you know what he would say? He would say "who gives a fuck?" Just like he has been saying for the last month. Well you know what west? I give a Fuck and I know you guys (and maybe girls) give a Fuck. And I want to give a big Fuck you to KC and west. Now, lets go piss on the Incinerators!!!!!!

Are you guys a farm team or something?

We are a team that is going with a youth movement. Also, a team with an owner that has logged in once every 12 days for the last month. A team that said owner had 7 or so starters with contracts ending the beginning of season 3. A team that had no money at the start of the season to sign free agents because the owner didn't add on to the stadium. That is our team, and we suck.

In a post-game interview after rewarding all seven of the Incinerators' faithful fans with one of his touchdown balls, Emmitt Duckets offered the following words of wisdom:

Yeah, that blows man... With the massive waiting list to own a team, they should take his away from him and sell it to someone that will run it right.

Seriously though, I believe you have to go inactive for 15 days to lose your team but I say if you go inactive for multiple long periods you should lose your team and any GMs still active should be presented the option to buy it if they choose. When I started this thread I assumed Windy City was a farm team since they weren't terrible last season. I have much less of a problem having a joke on a farm team than I do on a team that is screwed over by an inactive owner. I hope you guys can get things turned around.

Our GM said it was 14 days. He has been inactive since the 15th so hopefully he wont sign on tomorrow. I don't know if the current GM will take over since the team is such a mess.
