Actually, the more I think about it, the more false this comes out to be in my mind.

The weaker builds won't catch up because both players will be getting the same amount of sps.

The extreme builds will benefit, because they will finally be able to round out.

However, In my mind, this isn't going to do anything to make competition healthier. Which is a shame, because i haven't been this excited for an upcoming off season, ever.

good point, forgot about the extremophiles, they are getting a monster gift with these changes.

Ya, they really are. They are the big winners for sure. Everyone else will just be rounding out or enhancing their current builds, which doesn't really make the pool of dots any bigger or better.

Yep...the 150+ speed, 32 stamina LBs...140+ speed, 52 tackling SS, etc. will all get a shot to round out now.

Weak builds will still be equally weak it seems.

Agreed.

Thankfully, I have a couple extremely extreme dots in my org, so those should be fun to see finally get rounded out and perform.

Otherwise, everything else will pretty much stay the same.

I just mean there will be more dots available to recruit. Two extra seasons of plateau means dots that were going to retire this off-season are now available for two more seasons. The dots that were going to be recruited to replace them are now available to other teams. Just my opinion...

You would think this, but based on early recruiting, this is not the case. There are far fewer players in the early FA market than in the past.
