I hope you have enough skill points to put into carrying, stamina, confidence (maybe) and SA's (definitely will need these). That's a lot of diversity.

You need at least 130 speed, you could pass with 125 if he's really good though. That's the minimum level for a useful WR, any less and your OC will have a difficult time using him with the way defensive builds are setting up.

stop and take a second before you do that.

Assume 3 AEQ's, all points in speed.
Thats 55 points

130-55 = 75

You need at least 75 natural speed to be passable for a possession or Power WR.

You just need to decide how long you want your dot to suck before he's actually useful for an OC. The longer you wait the better your dot can be... to a point. But you need to make sure you leave room to raise speed at some point in the build to make it to 75 at end build.

The one I'm building right now is going like this.

Agi to 68
(4 star enhance, AGI in the multi train)
Spd to 77
Catch to 74
Carry to 68
Vis to mid 50's
Str to 61
Stam to 61

.

Is that the order you are capping them in? What kind of power rec'er?

With APD Speed is going to 81 now, he will be a quick receiver who can fake and use spin effectively against DB's, and has 145 speed. I have two older power receivers in plateau, and the one who is faster and more agile is better even though he is weaker than the other one simply because he can get open better and you don't need much more than 64+ strength to break DB tackles, especially when you get carrying into the mid to high 70's and the supporting VA's, SA's, and AEQ to help you do it.

I'd like to see a minimum of 90 strength on that guy, at the least can you get carrying, strength and agility to 80? Sacrifice jumping and vision IMO and you need to get the break tackle SA's up.

yeah currently working on str/carry, my OC's got me on -80 running style, so probably gonna focus less on agility and more on the break tackle SAs
