Warrior General Games

Ahh the good ol WEPL days. Every once in a while when I look around GLB and see teams I remember from the league still going strong it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Alas, being the recruiter/OC/DC for the Ballers for 10+ seasons was too draining and I needed a break, so I'm enjoying just being a dot builder much more nowadays. I'm definitely rooting for the remaining OG WEPL teams to keep on rocking.

No, we never made the Pro League then. We always made the AAA playoffs, but hung it up before we could move up to Pros. From Season 9, I took my WR and joined up with Mavooo ..... have been part of Rage ever since. Must have a different Ripper team. Although we may have played in AAA, but you were in Zeta, I believe.

Ah I think I had you guys confused with the London Monarchs for a minute. I do remember Whitechapel too though!

Some of these may have old school teams from pre-AAA as that's where Bonn worked their up from, but old school teams nonetheless

I remember a Toulouse team, they were definitely at least AAA, pretty sure they made WEPL too.

Just remembered Lyon Dynasty too, that team always worried me with the extreme speed they had on every player but they never quite put it all together. Half the time when they'd run a sweep to one of their crazy speed backs they'd be so fast that the pitch from the QB would actually miss them and drop to the ground like 15 yards behind the line. Dunno if it was a build issue or if they broke the game at that point.

Normandy Invasion, Glasgow Coloured Trombones, West Wales Warriors, Bath Killer Bees, UK Patriots, Cardiff Bluebirds they're just the ones I can remember off the top of my head. Some really good teams in that division back in the day.

They were they when Yorkshire was there as well, we just were not as good. I cannot remember the other Yorkshire team that we played against as well.
