Looking at your Roster, it has made a lot of positive moves. However, there are a lot of holes that need to be filled, and unless they are, SNK will run all over you.

We are not expecting to win today but at least be competitive. Last game that Hawaii team did not score, I hope that is not the case today. We still have alot of cash and have maxed out seating out and added some quality players that want to be on our team. By the end of the season our goal is to be relavant. We will win games this season.

I agree that end of season needs to be your goal, not next week. You are massively underestimating the strength of teams in your conference. Most of the teams in the conference should be able to hold you to a shutout currently, so make sure you don't set your sights too high. The rebuilding process will be incredibly painful.

We got beat 36-0 but made some progress. Our first win will be 7/1 vs. Oakland. We have a good core and are starting to build. Our QB had a nice game but our WR are not too good. We also need to build alot of depth and get some speed.

Now, let me preface this by saying Im not one to talk crap.. unless its very much warranted (and I woudlnt call this shit talk). From nearly day 1, the N.O. Poison has had a newspaper article posted in the locker room as motivation.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=375751

The first post in that article made us hungry.. not only did it count us as the worst, it also came from what looks to be a falcons fan.. and worse.. a mike vick fan. A few big no no's in a Saints fan's book.

We hold every team in BBB 16 in high regards.. and know that anyone of them will give us a game each week. Good game Sin City.. I am abit surprised of the outcome.. and nearly changed the gameplan right before the game..(thank god I didnt). I'm sure next time we meet it will be even more difficult for us. Good luck the rest of the way. And damn.. 4 fumbles!!! I feel like everyweek we're tryin to fix that..

Admittingly, we're pretty surprised of our success this season early on.. but also know its no easy road from here on out. (guess we're just glad we got 2/3 of the best teams done with). I dont see us really competing in the play-offs IF we even make them.. And while we may not make the playoffs.. I feel our team is much better than last season.

And by the way.. thanks for the confidence week in, week out Tom.

First off, GLB for some reason, a few mins before the sims likes to change your streak column.. so if you want to ruin your pbp exp by checking the earlier sims, be weary of that. Bad deal to start the day finding out you lost in an instant when you're waiting forever for a key game.

Second, it's cliche, everyone says, but I mean it. Las Vegas is good, everyone knows that, they were the better team today, and they won in a clear fashion. I'm not trying to diminish their great play, but obviously that's what happens you complain about your own team's misfortune.

That said, I firmly believe games are won and lost in the first quarter 90% of the time. Confidence and morale is everything. I don't know what the hell is going on, but 11 fumbles in two consecutive games is ridiculous. We have high carry, and our confidence is about the same as everyone elses I'm sure. I don't think anyone is skipping key stats to get 50 confidence outside of the few positions where it is one of the top 2 key stats.

We turn the ball over inside the 10 and give up 3 points. We then turn it over again , and the next thing you know, every pass is dropped, every FG is missed, more fumbles happen, and we can't stop another team's 3rd down because they've gained momentum.

So all that said, good job Las Vegas, you won.. most people might say "You kicked MN's ass" but if we play again, and it's clean, it isn't going to be nearly the same result. In my opinion, two even teams faced each other today, and one sucked, and one didn't.

Bottom line, good win. Unfortunately looks like the road to the Championship doesn't lead through Minnesota.

I am working on a theory that fumbling has more to do with strength than csrrying. I think both stats are involved, but I've seen backs with high carry and low strength drop the ball like it was greased, while backs with high strength and not as much carry hang on to it like it was a breast.

Something isn't exactly what people think it is in that particular series of events (fumbles)

Good point. That probably does, as well as perhaps elusive running style?

Man, all I know is everytime the guy carries a ball and gets hit it's at the point where I expect it to fly out.. and I see it in all my various team's games every week.. you get that first interception or turnover early and it just goes downhill because of the confidence structure of this game. I see us do it to teams too.

Clearly your single outcome today completely spins my theory, formulated through the experience of over one hundred sims, right on its ass.

Once again you've proved to be a veritable treasure trove on insight, "Snackman."

I stand corrected. Morale and confidence have nothing to do with a sim, and momentum doesn't exist in his sim.
