Whats a "possession" WR anyways?

This build had 1 drop all season, not a typical "possession" build everyone loves, but what is really? 1 drop compared to none is all of a sudden possession?

33 receptions in season 21

How else a possession wideout gauged? they get open easier? Nope, they drop one less ball, yup. They get YAC, depends, usual 2.1 YAC avg.

You might start by looking at their target to reception ratio. It's just a thought. You might want to adjust for screens, however.

33 receptions might be good if they averaged 15+ yards and included 12 TDs. It's pretty weak if they occurred on 65 targets and averaged 8 yards. Pretty awful in fact.

This. My poorly built possession convert on esl caught near 75% of his targets this season and finished around the top of the wl. He has pretty poor vision/strength/confidence and his agility is pretty awful for a wr as well. He does have 80+ catching and high stamina tho. Which is a big help.
