ETA: by the way...screw the ice...fuck the rocks...no more than a couple drops of water - literally drops. If you want it frickin cold chill the damn bottle, but you will ultimately dull the dull the nuances of flavor and aroma.

tbh if I am drinking something of quality (Glenlivet 18 y/o is about as much as I will ever spend) then I will drink it at room temperature,no ice, no water, just the Glenlivet. Now if I am drinking something shitty (like Johnny Walker) I am just trying to get drunk and whatever helps me gulp it down the fastest be it coke, or ice will do.

johnny walker is just expensive, not good
