Pee Wee isn't breeding any new talent. You would need to remove the gold coaches from Pee Wee for a few seasons to let a new best of the best show up.

Yes, this I believe to be true. I was just pointing out that there isn't a complete lack of interest from the current Gold coaches, otherwise you wouldn't see them running multiple teams.

I know I am trying to introduce new talent to PW, but it is a tough sell.

Not that I am in Gold or anything, but PW is a one and done league, and I think the reason it is looked at differently, is that player agents don't get as much enjoyment from PW as they do long-term teams.

My belief, is that the reason that peewee teams in Gold are so intermixed, is that only owners of peewee teams, are interested in peewee teams. You could throw in OCs and DCs of peewee teams to some degree, but for the most part, it takes an owner of a peewee team to be dedicated to this league.

yeah too many of the same coaches with their fingers in more than one pot! ...yet another factor that will lead to peewee extinction imo!

This is exactly why I tried on a couple occasions to limit owners/coaches to one Gold team only, but I got ripped a new arse each time, so basically have given up.

I don't think it's a one gold team thing that is the problem. I think what everyone is referring to is Gold owners having their hands on silver teams. If your a silver team trying to learn the system and your stuck in a silver league with say 5 gold owners doing this or that, how long do you think they will stick with pee wees having zero chance? Best way to get new talent and interest is having Gold owners stay within their own league. Unless they get demoted of course.

it's not just the gold league, but all of peewee! ...most gold league coaches are involved with dominating teams in the silver leagues also, including yourself! ...it just kills the enthusiasm at this level to know that to win a silver league championship, an inexperienced peewee team would also be required to overcome some gold league heavyweights in the coaching department for a ticket to the gold league! ...yeah you may say that they will have to learn how to beat them when in the gold league, but the gold league has the edge coz coaches there get a good feel for how to play against the best, whereas coaches in the silver leagues don't!

only way to prevent this is to make it very hard to get a peewee silver team.... decrease the number of silver leagues immensely and make a huge waiting list to get one. The waiting list can at least somewhat simulate the progression through the leagues that Pro teams have to go though. If you already own a team you get auto-bumped to the bottom of the waitlist for silver. Anyone should be able to get a copper team though for testing purposes.

eh now that I think about it that doesnt really solve the problem of coordinators just going to silver teams

Loretto is CPU, we bring you love is a lolspot, I just am teaching him, GTS is also a lolspot, jkid and I don't do anything until playoffs, I have three DC jobs and one that I only do during playoffs

I have always stuck to the one team for all of Pee Wee rule. Giving advice to people is one thing, loading an AI and scouting is another.

I was always free with my advice, which I think helps people learn how to do it on their own, which is more important than giving them a fish?
