Tough to say, really. We haven't seen a fully built archtype team at lvl 72 yet, let alone a WL full of them. When we do, the sim will likely need a huge adjustment one way or the other, but the extra carrying could pay off huge, or after a borfing to fumble forcing, turn into wasted SP.


Agreed, and I think hard hitters will be the most likely archetypes to throw the sim since the build possibilities that they provide are pretty revolutionary compared to pre-archetype builds. That being said, I think if there is a worry of fumbling, Cover Up and Avoid Fumble % would probably be more beneficial than 10ish more carrying. If he can work NF% into his build instead of the CB%, that would probably be the best route if fumbles are a big issue in the future. We'll see what happens with HHers and adjust from there.

I'm considering dropping the MT piece for a ZF piece to get ZF to 10 and dropping some of Helmet Crash and Textbook Tackler for DvG. At 210 lbs, he'll only have to worry about the very smallest QBs, HBs, and WRs not triggering DvG.

I might worry a little about his man to man coverage skills with such low agility and no CD.

However, put him in a zone, or utilize nickel and dime defenses where he isn't typically covering a WR man to man and that build looks killer. Although I'm not sure there is a need to take swat ball to 5 other than it's cheap. Also don't know why there are 3 additional abilities when 2 of them have on sp spent in them.

That's why I'm considering picking up ZF over MT%. The agility worries me a lot. As for the additional abilities, I just forgot to update those. It should be 10 JH and 10 MH.

EDIT: And the SB is because it's so cheap. I suppose I could pick up a little CD instead.

I'd do that, and maybe get a CD instead of MT% or go with a little more CD over something else.

Of course like I said, if played in a defense where he isn't man to man on WRs, then I think that build could be great without the CD. I don't think he needs ZF because if he is playing zone, then he already has enough agility.

CD would be easy enough since I've got a base +3 AEQ that I've yet to enhance. The reason I'm considering MT% is because tackle quality improves FF chance.

I just re-ran the build and can probably get to 8 JH, 10 MH, 4 CD, and 4 SB. If I drop the SB, I can take CD to 6. That'll probably be a decision I make once he gets older, since I'll be able to see if he needs the PD score boost or the agility boost more.

playing in a zone with only 5 in sv kinda scares me... I'd probably drop one of the FF pieces for an avoid fake.

As you can see I have the custom in speed and I plan to have both strength and speed EQ. I think the versatility is worth the hit on the AEQ.
