Warrior General Games

We've been around forever, up and down, driving some intense feelings out of other teams who definitely did not like us when we crashed the party occasionally. We had great series against the Rekohu Raptors, Dharan Legion, Sin City, Freedom Band of Brothers etc, but OT Miracle is the team I would love to hate most of all, but they've got a great owner. Bitter sweet, bc they probably gave us the most painful losses in our history.

First regular season game we played was against OT and they beat us 66-0.

Then in season 12 http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=12&team_id=927

We were smoking most teams and beating GREAT teams with our defense that literally shut every offense down regardless of what they ran. Every category was led by an Oberon Bull. We went 16-0 in the regular season including a 23-16 win over OT Miracle in a hard fought game where they outgained us, but our defense did what they did best which was bend but not break and was lights out in the red zone.

Then we get to the playoffs and roll through the first game. Then we hold down the best running team in the league no one else could slow down and pull it out.

Then we face off with OT Miracle and get absolutely screwed by the sim losing 48-6! Are you kidding me? The most points we had allowed the whole friggin season in a game was 20 and they put up 48? 3 x's what they did in our last meeting and holding us to 6 points?

Their QB throws for 74% against a secondary where every guy on the field, including the LBs were league leaders in INTs all season. We shut down his main RBs, but a FB averages 5 yards a carry. Then we force two fumbles, but they recover BOTH of them. Contrast that with our RB who NEVER fumbled and he LOSES TWO FUMBLES.

What's even worse, our team was a PASSING OFFENSE and the gameplan called for throwing almost every down yet our RB gets 30 carries? Our QB that season had a QB rating of 127, had thrown for over 6500 yards and 107 TDs against only 9 INTs. A completion percentage of 70%!

Yet here the sim goes off loading up on the run? We throw as many times as we pass when all year we were at least 2 passes for every run? Heck, in almost every situation we called for throwing the ball bc we knew our running game was only good for short yardage.

Long story short, I'm still pissed at the sim bc I think we got jobbed. Our overall record that season was 22-1.

Really pissed me off bc every season we had done really well, we had weird situations cost us playoff games where every loss was by 7 or less. So when this game happened, we about sold the team and quit GLB it left such a bad taste in our mouth.

Our big rivals were Guadalcanal Gunners, Perth Pirates, Alice Springs Rock Wallabies, and several others I can not remember (will update if my brain cells start working).

In season three, the Gunners could not get past the Fiji Stingers, in the regular season and the playoffs.
In season four, the Gunners won AA4, beating our most competitive rival at the time, the Fiji Flying Foxes.
Other great rivals in AA4Zeta were the Alice Springs Rock Wallabies, who were our bitches, and, as mentioned above, Devonport.
In AAA2, the Gunners had a short, quality rivalry with the Cook Island Convicts before the best, most competitive rivalry we had, squaring off in many, many epic battles with the Tasmania Tigers.

I miss ASRW. But when we reset, we decided to not reset as any of our old teams. Our original group made pro in Africa, Oceania, and SEA. So we became something new entirely and stayed in SEA where our most recent rival were as the Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy.

If I ever own again, I think I will restart ASRW...

All the old Alpha teams are defunct.

Back when I owned the TiT's, we were rivals with Mean Machine and Brantford Mustangs and Cascade Cajun Crushers, and had some good games against Samoa Gangsters and BPN.

Of course, that was when the top teams had level 37 players and there was no such thing as slow building or build guides. You boosted whenever you needed to to keep your starting spot.

I'd say I was sorry, but instead I'll say - you forgot the 6 sacks and the interception and penalty! *runs*

That was not one of our championship seasons but it was one of the OTMs best performances. The QB had a 119 pass rating that season, his best. Pusher at FB (both FBs had str over 120) had his most broken tackles and highest yards per carry of his career. My Halfbacks, though you kept them in check, were faster than my current wide outs, and the wideouts were insanely fast IMO anyway. A great season, spoiled by a three point loss in the championship game to the lousy Kamloops Caribou. WTF is a Kamloop I ask you? Our only other losses were to you and our other rival the Rehokuku Raptors. Gold Coast Samurai was only other team to even come close.

13-3. Now we are more likely to go 3-13.

Oh as to that game, I think that may have been my first serious game planning effort too.

I would if it was practical, but they were grown from the ground up to be Miracles and they are needed there unless I find someone better, which would be nice.

I had players on the Honoria Pit Bulls, you guys scored 14 in the 4th to tie us then hit the game winning FG in OT in the 1st round.

That was after we beat them during the regular season by ten. Those were great matchups with Honorai. You guys were a good looking team.

those were some great matchups

I would say mine were EEA, Sumatra, and the Whore's now the addict. Lost to each of them but I remember a loss to EEA that way worse than it had to be and it made us change stuff up to become more competitive and eventually beat each of them. Could add the Cuse to that list of teams that gave the Nation fits.
