I do the math. Think about how many training days your player has left. Then figure out how many bonus tokens you need to buy the EQ you want (at least 3 fully upgraded pieces of AEQ). Figure out a combination of quad/light or triple/light or whatever that will get you there.

Days*(tokens per day) => Needed BT

So say you need 720 BT to upgrade 3 pieces to level 72, and 210 to make them from scratch (shopping is an option). That is 930 BT invested in EQ that you need to generate (minus any you've already put in). Say you have 350 training days left in your career...

x*(3)+y*(1.5)=930
x+y=350
Where x is number of days training light at 3 BT/day, and y is the number of days training quad at 1.5 BT/day.

Solve the system of equations and you get
x=270, y=80, or 80 days of quad training and 270 of light training.
who said algebra wasn't useful.

Edit: When solving the system, if you get a negative number then you are boned and need more days or more BT generation.

hehe it's a crazy notion I know. someone who has time and knowhow should turn that equation into a script... Until then if you want me to run the numbers for your player I'd be happy to.
