If you combine a rushing QB/Rushing FB with a powerback, and they stack the box all game, you are going to be able to hit the outside with your QB, FB, or on the screens. Maybe I'm wrong, but if they over sell on one threat, they are just giving up too much to another.

I would love to see a PB with under 100 speed at the Pro/WL level that averages 3 ypc

Well, I guess if no one builds one and no one gives one a chance, the defense won't be looking for one when someone does do it.
It has always been the case that people get too comfortable with what works and what doesn't in GLB that when someone does something unexpected everyone says it is overpowered and needs to be nerfed.
Everyone starts thinking break tackle, so defenses stock up on make tackle. Someone comes in with Juke, Head Fake, Open Field Fake, and 33% fake chance and suddenly defenses start needing to worry about the %fake chance pieces.
Then the true powerbacks make a comeback because they have 120 Strength, 120 Carrying, and no one in the middle has enough make tackle gear to shut them down.
I know it isn't quite as extreme as that, but it is part of the evolution of the dynamics of this game. When everyone said speed kills, the powerback made a comeback... and got nerfed to hell because the DCs couldn't stop them with the personnel they chose for defense.
The season of the iSlam is coming back, and in not too long.
