This is simulated dot ball, and it is just as hard to be competitive at the Pee-Wee level with slower dots as it is at the World League level with faster dots. There are build considerations at both levels, as well as tactic adjustments and play calling choices that only skilled owners/coaches will do well in at either level. In other words, it takes just as much coaching talent to get to and remain in the WL as it does for PW Gold.
Something to consider is that good builds can make or break a WL team, where they are less of a factor at the PW level. At the Gold level, while it doesn't happen too often, a non-boosted, non-CEQ team has beaten a fully boosted & CEQ team. Since most of Gold has fairly similar builds, this comes down to coaching ability. While I don't know for sure, I doubt the same can be said for the WL.
While the skills are different, it takes just as much skill to be successful at PW as it does for the WL. I have yet to see a bunch of WL owners/coaches take a PW team to Gold. Granted the same can be said for the opposite, but it takes a long time to take a team to the WL or at least to the upper levels, where if you buy a Silver team, you have a shot at Gold in your 2nd season, but I still don't see any WL or upper level owned teams there.
While I doubt this will happen, a test would be a good idea. Give a top level upper league owner/coach full control of a PW Gold team and a top PW owner/coach full control of a WL or highly competitive upper league team and see who does better or adapts quicker. While I doubt either will be successful their 1st season, it would be interesting to see which does better and who adapts quicker their 2nd season.
PW owners/coaches just say we are as good as the upper level owners/coaches, but the upper level owners/coaches think there is little to no skill at the Pee-Wee level and thus think they are superior to PW owners/coaches, which is where the ego comes in. Which do you think it is?
I agree that peewee building is different from general long-term builds.
However, talking peewee gold standard building is like talking building WL standard building to most newbies. Of course they are interested, but if they are asking for help, chances are they won't be hitting that level of building with the player they are asking for help with.
This thread seems to be more for making sure that these new players will grow and be seen as "above average" recruits for d40 teams after their first season, rather than getting told "lol, you went 4 first step in your peewee season?".

Like Ping said, good PW builds don't make for good long term builds, and good long term builds don't make for good PW builds.
People who want to make good long term builds, will probably get some good info from the original poster, but are probably better off in a Rookie or D-League instead of a competitive PW team. Probably wont make a difference on a semi-competitive or non-competitive PW team though.

Like I said, there are plenty of people who start dots off in lolpw and go on to build long term. This is just somethin to help new people to the game, so I dont know what your crying about.

Impressive rant, but thats alot to extrapolate out of my statement. And I know plenty of people who start their dots off in lolpw, so this definitly applies here. If you dont like that, then jsut ignore it.
LOL when you post on the peewee forums you may want to try and find at least a small amount of tact

That comment would apply better to those who are crying about the fact that we are tryin to help new agents, and hijack this thread turning it into a lolpw vs regular teams. Again, this is simply somethin to help new agents out with some basic information.

Pro leagues are a joke tbh I don't want any advice from some stuck up kid who isn't even in the top league of dotball talking down on people in Pee Wee.

Where did I talk down about lolpw? Show me a statement Iv made that takes anything away from these leagues? All yall that defensive? Iv already gotten PMs from a couple of new agents, who have dots on lolpw teams, and will be continuing their career afterwards. I myself am doing the same thing, so it not like it doesnt apply here.

Guessing the fact that you keep calling it lolpw? You really can't be that slow that you didn't think you'd not get a reaction when you are lumping Gold to D leagues in the same package. If you want to not get the reaction you received, just simply refer to it as PW and you wouldn't have seen any thing like you have in this thread.
What you're trying to accomplish is good for everyone, the wording in which you went about it wasn't.

didnt mean any disrespect by the lolpw but il drop the lol for this thread. and if your referring to dots being down here just for xp, there are dots that this would apply to, espcially people who just joined the game, which is the target of this project in the first place.

You need to clarify this. If someone is building a dot to be super competitive in PW, it will not be a very good long term dot. It's a completely different build strategy. You can build a solid dot for PW that lives on, but not a dot that will be an elite at PW. I think you have attempted in a round about way to say that this would be helpful for those building dots in PW that plan to live on. If that's the case, then the idea has some merit.
I think you've backed off your stance a bit now. What you'll find if you stay here is that many of the owners/coaches/agents here are as knowledgeable in GLB. Just because they enjoy PW doesn't mean they don't have a grasp on what goes on.

PW wasn't created for new players. PW was created to give a league where everyone started on equal footing and had a chance to compete. The upper levels suck b/c regardless of coaching 14/16 of your games are decided by builds/levels before the game is started and new owners have no chance of competing unless they own all of the players or are part of an organization.
