Yeah, I was afraid that might be a bit of a turn off. I called that to my fellow Yankee fans and they said I was crazy and that he'd take the dollars. Well he signed for less money and less years. You can't tell me it was all about the Phillies winning tradition or their city of brotherly love. I think the spitting incident was ungood.

I don't like A-Rod and never have but we're stuck w/ him. I'd take him a million times over Manny though as far as douchebags go. I wish we'd have gotten Mike Lowell about the time we got A-Rod. LOL, baseball more than any other profesional sporthas HUGE problems. I do live in Philly and LOVE the fact that we can sign Lee, but unfortunatly half the teams are already eliminated from the playoffs. Until MLB puts some sort of cap into its league it will always be the same 6-10 teams in the WS
