Top time all pro OPL teams?

SoCal
Indy
EEA
WSI
BPN
Berlin
GCMM
GCV
Guadal v1 + v2 combined totals

SoCal has to be #1 with Indy a close 2nd to them I would think (although, to be fair, Indy did make WL in it's only season in OPL)

There has been a lot of great teams in OPL tbh, But I wouldn't rank any of them above SoCal.

You know, someone should have done a OPro history thread detailing all 16 seasons. Would be interesting to see things like longetivity, overall wins, etc. etc..

too much up to date style I think

SoCal and Indy are great teams nowadays and I might not argue if they had spend their WL time in OPL, but being great now and in the past... historically they canīt beat all the titles WSI and the Nites have won in OPL. Though SoCal might still be the right choice cause they have been good since S1 and are the face of OPL

Taking that into consideration EEA can only be top 5

Iīd also like to throw in the Mean Machine and the Cajun Crushers for that list

BPN, West Scranton, Mean Machine, Crushers, Kava Sharks, Gansters, IC, Tonga Ikale Tahi . . . lots and lots of great teams that have been long forgotten.

I wouldn't consider IC great by any means, but we did pull off some major upsets back in the day and had a good S5 (until foiled by our nemesis the Rawle Tech Titans.... who also deserve mention, along with the Brisbane Gods. Las Vegas Outlaws and the Vampires deserve mention as well, although short lived)

Good calls . . . forgot about the Heat. Couldn't stand OPT or Brisbane, so I probably repressed my memory of them.

The Heat were our biggest rivals. Some great games there. Brantford was my favorite rivalry even though we only ever played 2-3 meaningful games in our history.

By the way, we are back.

Agreed.

Looking at it, I can definitely see BDC at #1, although the lack of titles hurts. One season in OPL does not make a team a great OPL team, so Indy is out. BDC, WSI, and Banzai are top 3 all time OPL IMO (the order is debatable, of course). After those three, I like MUV and TIT as possibilities for rounding out the top 5.

They are flying under the radar. Loved that rivalry, too.

Indy must be up there somewhere though. They have been coined, and represent Oceania. Its not their fault they were promoted and make WL playoffs every season! (well, it is, but you know what I mean)

And I remember when I was on the Brisbane Heat we merged to form a "super team" that wasn't very good.
