He's a cameraman for a local affiliate... & from the area.
He's probably been a fan from day 1 (stupidly) and is now enjoying life.

Mostly b/c he knows they'll have to get rid of half their team next year.

Desmond Jennings softens the blow, but yeah, it sucks that they won't be able to keep the nucleus together. Still, you'll have Hellickson in the rotation next season and maybe add McGee as a power LHP out of the bullpen. Rays are going to be good for a while.

yea i know, we have a very deep system and jennings, hellickson and Mcgee for sure soften the blow, but crawford, Pena, Upton, Soriano are really going to hurt, but crawford the most because of who he is... and Im sure we trade james shields to make room for mcgee or hellickson

tv rating went up like 85%... besides the economy hurts tampa alot moe than alot of regions, its affected the bucs and the lightning. alot of south florida's inflated economy was from the housing boom and new construction, not to mention the stadium is in st pete which is a ghetto, it needs to be in Tampa if they want to bring in the tampa crowd, which is more their target demographic

Yeah i do marketing for Home Improvements in St Pete/tampa area. From 2005 to 2007 we made $$$ hand over fist. Then it has gone downhill from there on out. I see people who bought their house in 2005 for 300k and now that same house is only WORTH 180k but they still owe 280k on it
